Money back guarantee or satisfaction? All Therm-A-Rest mattresses should be repaired permanently. The kit includes: There are two colored patches, one Clear and the other Wooden, which are alcohol prep pads. Instructions on a tube of glue.
👤The Permanent Home repair kit and the Universal repair kit were the ones I purchased. Glue dots were preferred. I ordered the Permanent Kit because some of the photos appeared to show glue dots, but the Permanent Repair kit does not contain glue dots. The Universal Kit has glue dots. The permanent home repair kit has nylon patches about 2.5 inches in diameter. There are 2 alcohol pads and 2 tear-aid patches. The Universal Repair Kit is the same as the Permanent Repair Kit with the following exceptions. The instructions with the Universal Kit tell you what type of patch to use on which mattress. The glue dots and Tear-Aid should be used on all models except Yellow Neo Air, Trail, Trail Scout, and LuxuryMap. You only need a Tear-Aid Type A patch for Trail, Neo Air, and Trail Scout. Both kits come with Tear-Aid. You can purchase Tear-Aid Type A patches in larger patch sizes. The nylon circle patches and tube glue are used for the LuxuryMap. I haven't used Tear-Aid in the field yet, but it seems to form a strong seal on Trail Scout material. Therm-a-Rest did not mention how to use Tear-Aid in the instructions for the Permanent repair kit, even though Tear-Aid was included in the kit. The info in this review will help the next person get the patches they need. The repaired thermarest was used on a 62 mile backpacking trip. The patch held up well.
👤I have a newer Thermarest pad that has a small tear in the fabric on top of it. I was going to send it back to Thermarest to have it fixed, but with backpacking season coming soon, I figured I'd go this route to have it done more quickly and less expensively. The official Thermarest repair kit has a simple leak and I thought it would work well. I followed the instructions and it seemed to patch the leak when I filled it with air. After waiting a few weeks to be sure it had dried well, I gave it a test and it went flat again after I put weight on it for the night. I'm going to send this kit to Thermarest because I wasted time and money on it.
👤I just bought this and used it. I used it the same day I received it. The alcohol packs are not wet. The round patches air is not air tight, which is what you want when you want to seal something. I used one of the round patches and let all the air out of my air mattress, then put a 30 pound weight on it. I heard the air coming out after I reinflated the air mattress. I initially thought I didn't seal it all the way round properly, but it was coming straight out of the hole the patch was suppose to seal. The type A patch is the saving grace. This patch is not a mattress made for this type of patch. I had some gel super glue left and this patch is air tight, a good thickness and already semi-adhesive. I did it before the review, but I don't know if it will hold for such a thing. I wouldn't buy this product again.
The package has dimensions of:0.25" x 9.14". TEAR-AID repair patches provide a simple and easy method of patching holes and tears, as well as an excellent protective film solution. TEAR-AID repair patches are made from a tough, matt finish and resistant to puncture and tearing. Only vinyl and vinyl-coated material can be used for the repair patch. The oils in vinyl cause the glue to turn gummy and lose its bond. The Tear-Aid vinyl repair patches block the oils found in vinyl and result in a long lasting repair. The TEAR-AID patch is UV resistant and can work on any color. It has no sewing, no mess, and instant adhesion. The patch will not turn gummy in high heat. The patch kit contains a 3' x 12' TEAR-AID Patch that cuts easily with scissors to any size, and a 12' Reinforcement Filament for repairing tears at edges. TEAR-AID repair patches are made in the U.S.A. Prepare to be a hero by keeping TEAR-AID handy. Don't throw it away.
👤The backside of the tear should be patched with another patch. Rub the entire patch. So. This product cannot be used to fix any inflatable item that is indicated to fix. We would need to cut the inflatable open to apply the second patch. That would cause another big tear. That's what it's being said. Only one side worked.
👤I bought this product to cover the tears on my table. I applied this product on a day I wasn't using the table. The alcohol cleaner was used to clean the areas. I applied the tape. I wouldn't call it clear, it was very visible when applied. It looked like I had tape on my table. The small tears it covered slowly grew and spread outside of the tape, and it did not take long for this tape to peel up around the edges. What the heck! I pulled the tape off because it looked worse than cracks. I think this product could work on something that isn't being used at all or something that doesn't stretch, but it didn't do anything. Next, I will buy a glue-style product.
👤My son put a big one, which was an inch and a half tall by an inch wide. The Thermarest base camp sleeping pad only costs $80 and you can use it once. This is the right patch for vinyl. I was concerned that the thermarest wasn't completely flat and that the tear was large. I didn't patch the tear before applying this. Here's what's positive about this. I was supposed to have the patch extend an inch past the tear in all directions, but it was not in the instructions. The instructions say you can overlap the patches. So far, so good. The patch is holding up. I blew the pad up with my mouth because I didn't have air pressure inside. It's been held so far. My son slept on the pad next to our bed last night and I spent some time sitting on it and the patch was holding. I deflated the pad and then inflated it. So far, so good. This is a good product so far. I have half of it, as well as the two small puncture patches that came with it. I'll probably buy another and add it to my camping kit. I have a good feeling that it will hold up on this ridiculous tear.
👤I needed this product along with another vinyl product repair kit to fix a 4 person vinyl raft. It took 24 hours to cure, but the glue was instant. If you prepare the surface as instructed, make sure the edges are rounded. The edges were not raised up or stuck.
👤This stuff saves people. My husband bought a bounce house for the littles to play in during the bicyle. One of our teens fell in it and ripped one of the anchors out, despite being told not to. We had it for a day. I told them not to worry and watched some videos on repair on the internet. The day was saved when the tape arrived. This stuff is amazing. The hole was repaired and my littles are bouncing their hearts out again. Great product! You saved us! We are very thankful. If you have a bounce house years are gone, I can't say enough about this. This is a must buy now. It will save the day for you as well.
There are components that are included. Permanent: A permanent bond is created that instantly seals out air, water, and humidity. The waterproof patch and seal tape is great for indoor and outdoor repairs. An extra quirk. There is an extra thick layer of backing. It is possible. The forms are used to repair holes, cracks, gaps, and tears. There are flaws in the system. Repairs to roofs, rubber, plastic or vinyl pool liners, and more. More tape than other tapes. Also available in black. Also available in black.
👤I needed to patch a couple intex above ground vinyl pool leaks and I read mixed reviews about whether this was waterproof or not. I tried it both inside and outside of the pool, and neither worked in a way that could be called successful. We have some other tape that works better on the outside of the pool, so this is not a good product. I don't recommend using this for water-related things. It leaked as soon as it was applied to the leak in the image, and the surrounding area was dried off first to give it the best chance. There was no leak or bubble when the other tape was applied. The funny part was when we tried to apply it on the inside underwater, the reason I bought this tape in the first place. We cut it into a circle and applied it as quickly as possible, but it didn't stick except for the smallest area. It was useless at stopping the leak because it lost all its strength to the rest of the patch area.
👤It is difficult to cut, almost impossible to tear, and grab immediately with a bond on hard surfaces, so it is difficult to position it right the first time. A patch and seal tape has all of the desirable characteristics. It is performing well as a patch for a damaged gutter corner, which lasts through 90+ degree heat, freezing cold, and driving rain. It is almost unnoticeable and is likely to remain as a permanent repair. The only failure I have encountered is an attempt to patch a hole in my car's underwood insulation, it did not stick to the fabric but presented a real challenge to remove where it had stuck to the metal along one edge. The edge of the roll is sticky, but it can be useful when working on a ladder or in a precarious location. If you slap the roll on a hard surface, it won't roll or fall off. I've tried competing products, but they didn't perform as well as the Gorilla Weatherproof Patch and Seal Tape.
👤The tape was easy to work with and I patched several holes. Peel the tape and then rub the edges with a stick. I used a box knife to cut the tape. When I was done, Goo-Gone took the blade off. Will update this review when it's time to weather proof and long term adherence. So far, so good!
👤It works well. We didn't drain the pool enough and the tape got wet, but once it dries it becomes sticky again. If you need to repair, it's worth the money. We saved $6,000 for a new liner and will save up for a new liner next year.
👤The second patch is pictured. I thought the first one was my fault. I used a soapy solution to find the holes. The area was cleaned with alcohol. The patch did not work. It was disappointing.
👤I used this tape to seal the windows in the sun room of my home. The windows need to be replaced but we don't want to put money into the room because we want to tear it down when we add an addition. The wood was weak and cracking. I used this tape to keep the outside elements out of the case and keep it from cracking. I think bad things are going to happen behind the tape, but it worked well for me. White blends in with the tape so you don't notice it much. I would buy it again for such a repair, the only thing that was annoying was the grey color of the sticky side, the way glue would push out when you push two surfaces together. I tried to rub it away with my nail, which made it worse. It was like trying to remove sticky glue from a label when you have to push the glue into a clump and pick it up. The grey spots on my white painted wood were more noticeable than I anticipated when I tried to maintain all white against it.
40 pieces of repair patches in square shapes are sufficient to meet your repair needs, or can be applied as preparation to store at home. Their patch is much stronger than others. Their patches are very strong and transparent, which makes them much stronger than the inferior vinyl patches in the market. You can cut it to the size you want with the Protruding Point on the side. The air mattress repair patch kit can stick firmly underwater, thanks to the strong back glue. It can use any inflatable product, such as inflatable boat, air mattress, inflatable toys, trampoline, inflatable sofa, swimming ring, balloon, air bed, etc.
👤When I have reason to use one, the packaged amount will update.
Their premium, waterproof air mattresses can be used as a floor mattress at home, a portable bed for traveling, and even as a camping mattress in the great outdoors. The twin air mattress with built in pump inflates in under 2 minutes. If you're camping or traveling, use a portable battery pack or car outlet accessory to inflate the pump. The 16" blow up mattress has a premium comfort top to prevent leaking and provide non-slip stability. The portable inflatable mattress is perfect for a cat nap in the woods. The built-in, fastest inflating pump on the market can be used to fill up the twin air bed. Allow it to form and then inflate or deflate.
👤I bought this air mattress/bed after reading all of the positive reviews. Positive points were inflated quickly and were accurate. I can only say that those people must have gotten a bad product because I had to let a little air out at one point, even though I held air for at least a couple of months. As for the warranty. I'm writing this review so that potential buyers know that they are not lying, and that the 2 year warranty is the primary reason. It had held air for close to 3 months, but all of a sudden it began to lose air, and it became completely deflated within a few hours. I tried, but I could not find a leak. I called them to let them know. They kept their word and sent me a new mattress after 2 years. People will write bad reviews if they are unhappy with a product or service, but if they are happy with the product they won't take the time to write about it. I believe that if something is good, it's only right to acknowledge it. I would like to suggest to the company that they make a version of the mattress with an inverted headboard. One of the criticisms of your product is that it doesn't have one. The loudest pump you can find is the one that is the fastest to inflate the mattress. I was afraid to inflate my mattress because I was worried that the loud noise would wake everyone up, because I live in a place where people have to get up very early to go to work. My second criticism is the issue of furniture. I will never buy a air mattress again unless you add the inflatable headboard option to some of them. I had the head of the bed against the wall, so I had to pick my pillows up off the floor every night. I'm using an air mattress that has an inflatable head board as part of the bed and it's like it's night and day. I sleep better because I don't wake up a lot to get my pillows. I buy air mattresses on a continual basis and if you guys made one with the head board option I would buy it for the rest of my life. Thank you.
👤If they are built right, a good air mattress can be a variety of colors. An air bed should be able to be used either firm or soft, this one allows both depending on how much air you want to add. The Sound Asleep that my sister had in the past was over the EnerPlex bed, it was a clear winner. The fact that it was only half the cost and that there were features on the EnerPlex air mattress should not be taken away. The material is very thick and will stretch a bit, so make sure you top off with air after you inflate it and before bed. The bed was very comfortable and the price is spot on. I am very comfortable with my purchase because of the 2-year warranty and the quality of the product.
The tent patch kit has a crystal clear finish that blends perfectly with any surface. The puncture-resistant surface stops tears and prevents further damage. The repair kit has high ductility. It is different from the inferior patches. The air mattress repair patch kit can stick firmly underwater, thanks to the strong back glue. It can be used to repair all kinds of inflatable products, such as inflatable boat, air mattress, inflatable toys, trampoline, inflatable sofa, swimming ring, balloon, air bed, etc. This patch can only repair smooth and flat surfaces. Do not use it on fabrics that are suede. The inflatable toy patch repair kit is easy to cut. They have unparalleled confidence in their products because of their performance. They will give you a full refund if you think it's not good.
👤I bought these to fix some pool floats that had small holes. I applied the patches as directed after making sure the areas were clean and dry. They were sticky and covered a lot of space around the holes. The patches are better on flat surfaces, as on the pool floats I tried to repair, the patch did not want to flex with the curve to keep the small hole covered. I can see these working for the side of a pool or the large outer curve of an inner tube, but not the tighter inner curve of an inner tube or smaller, tighter curves on pool floats.
👤I tried to patch the mattress. They would hold for 10 minutes and then start leaking air. I decided to use all 60 patches on the one hole I had and ended up with the same result. The surface of the air mattress could be a part of it, but they wouldn't last long before they unstick and create pathways for air to escape.
👤They stick when the item is full of air, but if you let go of the air, they come off easily. They don't stay affixed when temp change or use. I tried.
👤Not good at alllllllllll! Don't put your money in a bag.
👤The instructions for air mattress repair were followed. As soon as it was inflated, it was leaking air. Don't waste money or time.
👤Good buy, lots of patches for the price and so far so good.
👤The patches didn't work. It told them to wait for twenty minutes. I was waiting for two hours. They didn't hold up.

👤I can't use the product, so I can't tell you how it works. The patch came off the box and stuck to the paperwork. I can't return it because of a ridiculous Amazon rule. I should be able to return unusable stuff.
👤Hi! I received my order from Amazon today. There is a small tear on the inflatable jump. I followed all the steps. The small patch was used for the tear. It will not stick. The sides are unsticking. The large patch/roll included in the pack is not sticking on the backing yet. I took pictures to show. I would like to get a return or a refund. I tried to call the manufacturer but there was no answer. The sides of the patches looked like they were unsticking to the pad when I opened the box. Let me know how to get back. The order date was almost $20 loss. Email for return: Jan 18. The 1 star was changed to 3 stars. It worked after applying heat using my blow dryer. The manufacturer's name and phone number listed here are not correct. A.C Kerman Inc. asked if I could help them correct the information.
👤I accidentally gashed a picture frame with an intex durabeam air mattress that I used this product to fix. The slit in the vinyl is about two inches in length, and is shown in the photo. The box I received was in good shape, but when I opened it, there was a small patch that had detached from the backing of the wax paper. I wasn't intending on using this piece anyways, it was too small for a two-inch gash. I was able to move the patch back to its proper place in case I need to use it again. There are two more The patch material is clear, so it becomes less visible when applied to the vinyl. This was something I wanted for my application. The application area is prepared with two alcohol pads. There are four It took 8 hours for the patch to adhere to the vinyl, but I have not inflated the mattress yet because the patch needs 24 hours to cure. I deflated the air mattress on the floor, and pressed the sliced portion of the air mattress so that it was parallel to the floor. I made sure the material was flat and didn't have any pleats under the damaged area. I took the gashed region's measurement and created a rounded patch shape that was about one inch larger than the slice, printed it out, and used scissors to cut it out. I scrubbed the damaged air mattress area with the included alcohol pad to make sure the patch didn't come into contact with anything. I turned on the fan in the room to help evaporate the alcohol, which took a couple of minutes. I put my patch with the protective backing on and moved it until I was satisfied with its placement, making sure to keep the edges of the patch about one inch from the tear. I removed the protective wax paper from the side of the patch and pressed it against the air mattress, because I didn't want the patch to slide. I used a debit card in my wallet as a squeegee and pulled the protective backing off to ensure no air was trapped under the patch during application. When the entire patch had been applied, I used a pair of scissors and a plastic handle to make sure there was thorough contact between the surfaces. I made sure that the edges were well-adhered. I don't have a heat gun, so this technique wasn't used in my case. The strength of the bond for the type B patch is indicated by the instructions, which show it to be about the same as the final value when a heat gun is not used. I will have to return and update this in the future, as I intend on inflating the mattress only after at least 24 hours has elapsed. The solution seems to be working as advertised, although I have taken one star for the poor packaging that led to one of my stickers partially detaching from the wax paper backing, and sticking to other objects in the box. This development did not affect my project since I only needed the larger patch. It has been a week since I did the repair. For a 2 inch gash, the repair is not a permanent solution. When I discovered that the mattress was losing air, I woke up on it. The patch stretches as the vinyl expands due to the inflation in the hole. This allows the tear to bulge open wider, which allows the vinyl to spread away from its original position, which can cause the patch to peel slightly on the edges. The problem is worse since the patch doesn't hold the tear shut. I ended up with the tear spreading closer to the edge of the patch than I had started with, which caused leaks. I had to use my fingers to press down on the patch before I went to sleep to make sure the bond was not broken. The product would probably have worked better if I had made the patch longer in order to account for the tear that develops after application. There was no longer enough distance between the tear and the patch edge for me to leak on the left side of the patch. This product would be adequate for punctures, which wouldn't cause the product to spread open and tear. I could imagine that this product could work for a long gash, if a few stitches were used to forcibly hold the gash closed. When the patch is applied over the stitches, it would be the stitches that would bear the spreading force. The patch seems to be good at making an airtight seal.
The metal housing protects from drops and bumps. The smart cooling fan system makes the car power Inverter very silent when it's not being used, and the fan runs faster when the device gets warmer. It's easy to fix holes with an ultra-strong, peel-and-stick repair tape that requires no heat or sewing, ideal for use in tents, tarps, jackets, vinyl furniture, and other synthetic materials. It is not recommended to apply Tenacious Tape to denim, cotton, or natural fabrics because of the aggressive adhesive that bonds nylon, mesh, vinyl, rubber and plastic permanently. This repair tape is waterproof and will not peel off over time, it is available in a 3”x20” strip. Use nylon fabric, ripstop fabric, and clear vinyl for a nearly invisible repair.
👤The "off-white" tape is about 20 x 3. It is not clear. The fabric tape is very strong. I used this tape to repair a small hole that our cat made on the wall of our new tent, the first time we set it up to inspect it. It did a good job, and looks good. The packaging for this product doesn't say "Ripstop nylon", which is puzzling to me. The front of the package has a discreet label that says "nylon", but it's not the same thing as "ripstop nylon". The product description on Amazon is very vague. There are three different types of tape being sold as "7 different colors", and it is not clear what type of tape each "color" actually is. The nylon tape was black, red, orange, and yellow. Ripstop nylon tape is green and off-white.
👤I have used several rolls of Gear Aid Tenacious Tape to repair a variety of things, including dog toys, winter coats, snow pants, and an umbrella. I wish I knew that this tape is not the same as the others. The fabric and flexible tape allowed it to move with the repaired items. The clear tape is shiny andrinkly and looks like a swatch of Scotch tape. I used it for an accidental dog rip on a jean jacket, but it's not something I would choose again. It makes plastic noises when you move. I'll either use an ugly piece of the black gear tape or sew on an unwieldy denim patch when it falls off. The rip is in an awkward spot between the seams, so it is not a good candidate for an iron-on patch. I was going to use it on a small mattress tear, but I can't imagine hearing that loud every night.
👤My dog ripped some holes in my sleeping bag. I was looking for reviews on how to repair it. I wasn't sure what to buy. I got the clear and the green. Glad I did. I needed 2 rolls to fix the holes. There are only 20 inches in each roll. I had a way to compare. If you want to repair nylon sleeping bags/jackets, you should get the colored fabric tape even if it's not a great color match. The clear looks worse in the end. I ordered another roll of the green but the clear will do. This stuff is very serious. Sticks are amazingly well. The FABRIC tape is amazing. When you slide your hand over it, it's barely noticeable. It's worth it even though I wish the rolls were bigger. The clear is hard to use on a sleeping bag. It feels very heavy and plastic. It could be good for something plastic. It's worth using fabric tapes even if you don't have a good color match.
👤My new jacket was saved by this tape. This tape is awesome, so don't hesitate to purchase it. I got a brand new Marmot jacket a week after I bought it. I was able to get two cuts on the elbow of the jacket. I had feathers flying out of the hole when I moved my arm. I swore to myself that I would never buy another jacket with such thin material after I ruined my jacket after a week of use. The picture doesn't do it justice, the tape makes my jacket look brand new again, after doing research, I purchased this product. I am confident that it will stay on my jacket. The clear is easy to apply, barely noticeable, and stands out because of the glare. I will use it on all my gear. I would have fixed my backpacking tent if I had known about it sooner. The best solution available. Very happy!
It is made with a waterproof layer and heavy duty glue. The design of the edge makes it easy to tear it. The model number is 59631NP. Product type:FABRIC APPLIQUE PATCH. The package has dimensions of:0.25" x 9.14".
👤The item was bought to repair a 4inch gash in the side of the intex pool. The product is described as being 7.5 x 5.9 x 5.1 The box is the size of the product. The patches are 2.5 x 2.5. These won't work for anything other than a small cut or puncture. If you have a large repair, use Gorilla Tape. It works under water.
👤Go to Michael's or Amazon and buy the clear "water" Gorilla tape. It works better and is easier to find here. The patches eventually leak.
👤The patches are still holding! I was expecting to have to replace them, but they were still holding air! I would not hesitate to order again. We have plenty left. We used a few pinholes in our inflatable pool to repair them. I have plenty of patches left if they don't make it through re-inflation or storage, and they held well for 3 months. The top section holds air only and the holes were on it. When splashed, it comes in contact with water, but not underwater. I don't know how these would perform underwater.
👤Also, note! The patches are flexible, not rigid, and conform to the tube, so they are not so obvious. It's completely clear and blends right in with the material placed on it. It's stretchy in nature and is like invisible Scotch tape. It doesn't crack because it moves with inflation and motion. I don't think it will peel. Very high quality. I used scissors to round the corners.
👤I have an inflatable pizza slice. It's intended as a pool float, but it never touches water. I bought these patches because my dog bit a small hole in it. It was deflated within 30 minutes after I put it on. You could see that the patch had separated from the float. I don't think this patch would be able to prevent a float from sinking in a pool.
👤You get what you pay for. I bought this kit because it was cheap. I thought it would bring a couple pool floats back to life. It didn't. I tried patching a basic raft and a tube-style float and neither held air better after the repair was done.
👤You get what you pay for when you order the patches for the second time. Have to replace almost all of the bandages a month into using the first batches, the patches that didn't get wet worked awesomely and are going strong, but have to replace the ones on the bottom. I wish it lasted longer. Attempting to try again. I will switch to a different brand if I can't get this batches to work for longer.
👤I did everything I was supposed to do. I cleaned the area with rubbing alcohol and cut the corners of the patches. I applied the patches carefully and then took the patches apart for 24 hours to make sure they were perfect. I had a patch placed on all 4 tubes within 12 hours. They let air out after they delaminated. Not acceptable.

👤The product is holding my boat seats together until I can afford to have them upholstered. The description said it doesn't yellow. A picture is worth a lot of words.
👤There was a hole in my exercise ball. The product didn't work even after following the directions. It's a pity. I had to buy a new ball. The new exercise ball was $10 more than the old one. It would have been cheaper to purchase a new ball and try to fix it.
👤The fabric on the bounce house was torn. The bounce house needs a quick fix.
👤The product came off quickly.
👤It was received in time.
👤It was used for a bouncy house. The slide came off several times after kids slid down it.
👤The sleep number leak didn't work. When inflated, the patch failed.
👤A hole was used to patch a jump castle.
The package includes 3 in x 7 ft roll of pool patches. It can be used to repair cracks or holes in inflatable products, such as air mattress, inflatable boat, swimming ring, inflatable toys, and can also be used to repair canvas, rainwear, and vinyl furniture. The repair kit is practical. A patch repair kit can be used to repair punctures, holes and cracks in inflatable products. It is a cost-effective way to repair inflatable products. Clean the surface near the crack and then paste repair tape. It works if you lay aside about 30 minutes. The patch can be cut into shapes and sizes. The pool patch repair tape kit is made of high quality material. There is a 180 day warranty and friendly customer service.
👤This isn't a kit. It did not stick to a vinyl coated pool cover, it was only a box of patches. It would patch the inflatable with a small puncture.
👤It didn't work for an above ground vinyl pool.
