👤There is no glue, it is worthless.
👤I bought this to fix a boot. The boot repair was used to try to stick it. The rubber is thick and squishy. Didn't stick. The money was wasted.

The package has dimensions of:0.25" x 9.14". TEAR-AID repair patches provide a simple and easy method of patching holes and tears, as well as an excellent protective film solution. TEAR-AID repair patches are made from a tough, matt finish and resistant to puncture and tearing. Only vinyl and vinyl-coated material can be used for the repair patch. The oils in vinyl cause the glue to turn gummy and lose its bond. The Tear-Aid vinyl repair patches block the oils found in vinyl and result in a long lasting repair. The TEAR-AID patch is UV resistant and can work on any color. It has no sewing, no mess, and instant adhesion. The patch will not turn gummy in high heat. The patch kit contains a 3' x 12' TEAR-AID Patch that cuts easily with scissors to any size, and a 12' Reinforcement Filament for repairing tears at edges. TEAR-AID repair patches are made in the U.S.A. Prepare to be a hero by keeping TEAR-AID handy. Don't throw it away.
👤The backside of the tear should be patched with another patch. Rub the entire patch. So. This product cannot be used to fix any inflatable item that is indicated to fix. We would need to cut the inflatable open to apply the second patch. That would cause another big tear. That's what it's being said. Only one side worked.
👤I bought this product to cover the tears on my table. I applied this product on a day I wasn't using the table. The alcohol cleaner was used to clean the areas. I applied the tape. I wouldn't call it clear, it was very visible when applied. It looked like I had tape on my table. The small tears it covered slowly grew and spread outside of the tape, and it did not take long for this tape to peel up around the edges. What the heck! I pulled the tape off because it looked worse than cracks. I think this product could work on something that isn't being used at all or something that doesn't stretch, but it didn't do anything. Next, I will buy a glue-style product.
👤My son put a big one, which was an inch and a half tall by an inch wide. The Thermarest base camp sleeping pad only costs $80 and you can use it once. This is the right patch for vinyl. I was concerned that the thermarest wasn't completely flat and that the tear was large. I didn't patch the tear before applying this. Here's what's positive about this. I was supposed to have the patch extend an inch past the tear in all directions, but it was not in the instructions. The instructions say you can overlap the patches. So far, so good. The patch is holding up. I blew the pad up with my mouth because I didn't have air pressure inside. It's been held so far. My son slept on the pad next to our bed last night and I spent some time sitting on it and the patch was holding. I deflated the pad and then inflated it. So far, so good. This is a good product so far. I have half of it, as well as the two small puncture patches that came with it. I'll probably buy another and add it to my camping kit. I have a good feeling that it will hold up on this ridiculous tear.
👤I needed this product along with another vinyl product repair kit to fix a 4 person vinyl raft. It took 24 hours to cure, but the glue was instant. If you prepare the surface as instructed, make sure the edges are rounded. The edges were not raised up or stuck.
👤This stuff saves people. My husband bought a bounce house for the littles to play in during the bicyle. One of our teens fell in it and ripped one of the anchors out, despite being told not to. We had it for a day. I told them not to worry and watched some videos on repair on the internet. The day was saved when the tape arrived. This stuff is amazing. The hole was repaired and my littles are bouncing their hearts out again. Great product! You saved us! We are very thankful. If you have a bounce house years are gone, I can't say enough about this. This is a must buy now. It will save the day for you as well.
Waterproof and resilience are important. The patch is made of good quality material. You can cut the boat repair patch in smaller sizes to meet your needs. You can choose to meet your needs with 6PCS. A pack of 6 patches is enough to fix a lot of things. Function: Multiple The repair kit is used to repair cuts and holes on inflatable boat, raft, kayak, canoe, inflatable sofa and lounge. If you have a question, you can contact them.
👤Not a kit. A description that is a lie is worthless. You need to order other things with it.
👤The item is advertised as a repair kit. This means that it has everything you need. This is not correct. The patches are the only thing being sold here. The description doesn't make it clear. 5 stars.
👤The patches were more heavy-duty than I expected. The material is about 1mm thick. They are holding up well after being used with HH-66 on a Sea Eagle 9 to patch small leaks. The product was good for $10
👤They were not easy to install. I had to use a separate product to bond it to the boat because they didn't adhere to the surface. They work, but not what I was hoping for.
👤Our raft is made of the same type of material that the product is made of. It is very strong. Excellent material for repairs. This product is very good.
👤These patches are thick. Good quality.
👤I fixed the leak on my boat. Follow the instructions.
👤These patches were bright red. I can see where my repairs are because of the red patch on my boat.
👤The vinyl did the trick. I used it to repair a puncture hole in a hot tub. It doesn't lift under pressure. It was used in combination with HH66. It is amazing!
👤Great product! The sevylor fastback inflatable kayak is the same material. A bad valve had to be replaced. It is possible to do a heat weld. A glue reinforcing welded around the edges.

👤Don't buy other repair or vinyl patch kits. This stuff works great. One of our guests damaged my queen airbed. There were tears on the surface of the air bed, which seemed to be irrepairable. Each tear was 4-5 inches long. The top surface of the airbed is made of soft furry material, which is similar to velvet. I was worried that a patch kit wouldn't mend this material since it's not a direct contact with vinyl. I bought this to see if it could save my airbed from being thrown away. This stuff works. I followed the instructions, applying a layer every few minutes with a fan blowing in the room to help keep it cool. The instructions say to use a patch of vinyl. I didn't have any. I tried to repair the long tear with this stuff. I used binding clips to hold the two sides of the tear together and apply the first 3 layers in 10 minutes. The drying time is between applications. I applied a few more layers after that, with a few minutes of dry time between each application. I left it to dry. The next day was the moment of truth. The air bed was pumped to 70% to test the repair. It held on. I stretched the air bed to be pretty firm by pumping it to 90%. There was no leak! No pop! The real test was a week later. Two of my guests slept on this bed for several nights in a row. No issues! There have been at least 6 guests who have slept on this bed since the repair, and no leak so far! You can see the attached images of the repair that I did. I repaired 3 tears. The Airstop material hardened itself to cover the entire damaged area, even though you can see the crack through the tear. After it dries, the liquid bonds with the vinyl. The harder the seal is the more coating is applied. From the images, I applied about 3 coating on the smaller tears. I am sure that this stuff will work well with most, if not all vinyl inflatable objects, since it worked so well on non-direct contact with a vinyl surface. I recommend this product over all other brands and forms of inflatable repair kits. Only use it in a well-ventilated area. The smell of this stuff is really bad when you open the cap. Don't put it on your skin or eyes. This stuff could burn you.
👤I didn't know what to expect when I bought this, but it didn't bother me at all and saved us 90$ of having to buy a new airbed. A few days after we bought the airbed for my brother and sister in law, our dog jumped on the mattress and poked a hole in it, because he was hungry. It can be easy to do things like this, and there was comfort for my brother and sister in law. I looked on Amazon for a mattress repair kit, but not many came up. This one seemed to have worked for most people, despite the bad reviews. I got one and it worked out. All I can say is follow the instructions. Make sure your airbed is fully deflated and the area with the hole or tear is clean by rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball and then adding a fine layer of glue, let it dry. I added 6 more layers to it. After waiting 6 hours, the bed was inflated. It seemed to work, but then came the stress test of my brother who is 6.3 ft tall and my sister in law sleeping on it. The bed was holding up even after 1.5 weeks and they found them to be as comfortable as ever the next morning. If you don't want to throw your airbed away and have a chance of repairing it, you should definitely use this product.
The volume of air in your mattress can be adjusted to fit your sleep pattern. A simple turn of the inflate/deflate valve will make a restless night into a relaxing one. Permanent: A permanent bond is created that instantly seals out air, water, and humidity. The waterproof patch and seal tape is great for indoor and outdoor repairs. An extra quirk. There is an extra thick layer of backing. It is possible. The forms are used to repair holes, cracks, gaps, and tears. There are flaws in the system. Repairs to roofs, rubber, plastic or vinyl pool liners, and so much more. 2X more tape than other tapes. Also available in White! Also available in White!
👤This tape works great, but it behaves differently than other kinds of tape. It comes off the roll easily and doesn't seem very sticky. Not as sticky as normal Gorilla tape. If you don't get it where you want it at first, it's easy to use and move it. The glue becomes very sticky after a while. It will be very difficult to remove it after that. Don't be concerned if this tape doesn't stick well when you apply it. You won't be able to get it off if you give it half an hour.
👤The easiest way to fix a leak is under the sink. There was a hole punched in one of my tubes. I smoothed out my sink with some tape and it was fixed and no more wet floors. I tried it out. Yes. It is working great! There was no water coming out. Definitely recommend. Happy!
👤We only had the waterslide for a week because my dog chewed 2 holes in it. The tape is working great. After application, it is very sticky and waterproof. I'm not disappointed at all.
👤Wow! This stuff sticks. It was a huge education for a first time user. The previous owner of my car had closed the sunroof. The seal was old and leaking again. I couldn't get to the drain holes to clean them out because it was sealed shut. I was left with the most drastic measures because nobody would touch it with a pole. To make sure it's sealed this way. It came out with a few surprises when I tried to put it on. It looks good even though I didn't want to cut it on the fly, and a tiny bit of overlap when I didn't want to. First, just know these things. It's never coming up again if you stick a small piece down. 2. There is a small amount of glue on the tape. The glue is there for life, so be careful if it gets on your car. 3. If you can, put the extra glue under the tape. I used a steel ruler edge for this. 4. The tape is long. Depending on how you use it, it can be an advantage or a disadvantage. It would have been helpful to know ahead of time. 5. The tape cannot be rolled out. Don't use those pieces at all cost. Even if it means buying an additional roll. Trust me. It's worth it. 6. Use nail polish remover to clean the glue off your scissors and exactoknife. Pick something to trace rounded corners for you to cut evenly. It is worth the extra effort. There are 8. It was used on a trailer in high desert country where it gets hotter and colder than here, and that was 20 years ago. It's doing just fine over there. The promise of hot/cold resistance is no joke. Hope this helps. By the way, girls... I was able to do this all by myself with an audience of men watching. We aren't completely helpless after all, so put on a trashy t-shirt, some fun music, and show them. You can do it!
The tube is 0.27 ounces and 8 liters. The country of origin is the United States. The package is about 6 inches in height. 3 Inches is the package length of the product. The package is 1.25 inches in width. The Tear-Aid Repair Patches provide a simple and easy method of patching holes and tears, as well as an excellent protective film solution. The Tear-Aid Repair Patch is made from a tough, matt finish that resists puncture and tearing. The Tear-Aid Type A Fabric repair patch works on most fabrics. The Tear-Aid patch is UV resistant and can be seen on any color. It has no sewing, no glue and no mess. The patch will not turn gummy in high heat.
👤All in a good product. I would buy it again. That is said. It's pricey for the quantity included. It's tape, not metal. I used it to repair the attachment points of my portable garage. I used the alcohol pads to clean the area. At this point, it was not good. It was 70 degrees outside. I used a lighter to gently heat up the material from behind without burning it and then a small amount over the tape to make it look like it was welded on. If you do this, don't burn the material or the tape! Don't cause what you're working on to go on fire! I don't speak from experience, but I can see it being a problem for some people. It just needs some heat to work. Last... The backing on the tape is difficult to remove. To the end user, you need to make sure that the value for the money is right. Either you need to improve on the initial adhesion of the glue you're using or you need to put the whole blow dryer thing in the instructions. The backing removal should be more user friendly. It's holding up so far, but time will tell if this product will last.
👤When I tried to use it, it didn't work. It stuck to my hands and then went down the drain. It was impossible to cut it into pieces because it was stuck to the scissors and I thought there was another piece in there. I messed up that one. It is difficult to apply, depending on what you are trying to do. I was trying to patch the inside of my purse and it was very difficult because the stuff stuck to itself and there was no way to get it back. It came with a small amount and no room for mistakes. It is very strong but applying it is difficult.
👤This stuff works well. It was bought to fix a tear in the canvas of the camper. It was POURED on us for over a day and it held its strength. I used the left side to patch the water toy. I thought it wouldn't last long since it was constantly saturated, but it held through multiple kids jumping on it. I plan to keep this stuff around the house.
👤The item was purchased based on the high number of positive reviews. This product was an exception to the rule. The results were terrible. I bought this product to fix a few small tears in my Orvis chest waders. I tested the patches out during a fishing outing in the Bay after following the instructions in the letter. I made my way out into the cold. May waters of Jamaica Bay. Within minutes, I felt a trickle of cold water down my pant leg from the spot of my carefully prepared Tear-Aid patches. The water made its way down to my boots. I knew that I would have to go fishing with a boot full of cold water. I will not buy this product again and will discourage others from doing so because of its false promises. "Anything that appears to be too good to be true probably is." is a saying that has been around for a long time. My left foot was cold and wet and Tear Aid was exactly that. There is a new patch product that won't be Tear-Aid. After I pour out all of the water that this product could not stop, I will start. Kevin T is a person.

👤I bought these patches to fix small tears in my car cover. I don't want to comment on the longevity of the patches, but I do want to comment on the backing paper they use. The backing paper is scored down the middle to help you peel it. I would peel half the patch, apply it and then peel the other side as I go, with this type of arrangement. The internal strength of the paper seems to be less than the bond you have to break to remove it from the patch. I ended up with several thin shreds of the backing still adhering to the patch, and trying to get these bits off with your fingers is royal pain, and probably causes the glue to be contaminated with oils from your skin. I tried to stick the patch to the fabric, but it was hard to get the bits of paper to peel off so that it would bond to the fabric. I decided to remove both sides of the patch to make it easier to shred. This was a huge mistake. The thin patch material stuck tenaciously as I peeled the second side off. I had to cut away a third of the patch with my knife, but I was able to apply it. I think they could use a backing material that would peel easily and in one piece, for the price of the patches. Only time will tell if the repair lasts. I don't think it's a good idea to buy these in patch form. I am not willing to risk the tape, even if you would have better luck with it. Next time, I will look somewhere else.
👤Really worked! On a mattress. The dogs weigh 45 pounds each, and the patch held with all of us on it!
👤Okay, so. I don't own any camping gear or anything like that, but I do have a beloved jumpsuit that has a large rip in the seam that runs down the backside. I can't operate a sewing machine because it's 100% polyester. I couldn't find any fabric glues that would work for it, and my experience with fabric glue is not great. Iron-on patches aren't good for polyester. This is the only thing. A lot of that is synthetic, and everyone said it repaired their gear. I patched the rip from the inside, covering the sides and bonding the fabric together. It blends in fine since it's on the seam. I've done a few pull tests with it and it seems sturdy. I'll report back on how it holds up when I wear it to a wedding this weekend.
👤My son ripped his jacket. I read lots of reviews before selecting this item. It is almost impossible to not leave fingerprints when the backing is a pain to get off. It is visible on the item. I was hoping this would be like the Scotch magic tape that disappears on packages. Not even close. If you care about the end presentation, I wouldn't recommend for Wearable items. I took it out. Glued the slit with a glue and may apply a strip back over it. To make the jacket presentable, I have to order ripstop fabric and sew a fake patch to make it look like it was part of the jacket. I think it will make it look more intentional, so I am going to do that on both sides.

👤The patches seem to work. It's easy to get the backing off the patch. It sticks well once it's off the patch.
👤I went online to find small pool repair kits that didn't need glue. Came off a few hours later and won't stay on.
👤These were lifesavers for me. I was devastated when someone cut my pool floaty against the cement edge of the pool. The patches fixed it up. The patch looked cute with a heart shape.
👤These were very easy to use, but within a few hours they started to get hot. All of them did the same thing and allowed air to escape.
👤I was so disappointed in these. The first time we used the water slide, these leaked and peeled off.
👤My husband said he never used a product that wouldn't stick to anything. It's total waste of money.
👤When water was added, the little to no glue came off my vinyl pool floor.
👤Los he empleado en la piscina.
👤He comprado, es malsimo. No lo aconsejo a nadie.
👤Des simples autocollants qui collent peine. The danger is great, ne pas reparer des bouées d d'enfants.
It is easy to peel and slice. This vinyl and fabric ripstop tape makes it easy to repair different surfaces. It's easy to install and conform to any surface type. The person is a ring-resistant. This heavy-duty waterproof transparent tape makes sure that whatever you patch won't rip again. It bonds to a lot of things. There is no application. The best way to patch holes on tents, exercise ball, kayak, inflatable bed, sofa, and pool float is with this vinyl repair tape. It does not require sewing or glue. There is a weatherpROOF. The clear tent repair tape is weather resistant and will not be affected by harsh sunlight or heavy rain. It works well against heat, rain, and UV. When exposed to intense heat, the patch doesn't turn gummy. Any place. It's a transparent patch tape that blends perfectly on all surfaces. Don't compromise your style by keeping your furniture intact.
👤It worked well to repair the puncture in my air mattress. It's very easy to use. It was easy. I would be on to something if it could tell me where the second tiny hole is.
👤It worked perfectly to stop the leak.
👤I needed to patch a hole in a sleeping pad, but it wouldn't adhere. It's still attached, but the air finds a small leak. I will be trying to layer them. The material is vinyl, but it has a fabric-like feel.
👤I bought this product early in the summer to have on hand for any pool inflatables that might have a hole. I was happy to have a repair kit on hand after my pool toy got a small puncture. I spent 30 minutes trying to remove the repair tape from the backing, but it was not possible. It has been in my air-conditioned home for the entire time, so no heat damage or anything like that. I normally wouldn't have a problem with long nails. I am unable to repair the tube because it is too late to get a refund. Don't spend your money on a product that isn't worth it.
👤I bought this to fix my exercise ball. I bought this because it was stated in the description that it was good for pool inflatables. When the ball has external pressure applied, the patch didn't seal it. I put a 50lb weight on the patch after cleaning the area around the hole. Application wasn't the problem. I gave it two stars because I think it's enough to seal a flat surface that has a tear and prevent it from tearing more. It's not enough for inflatables that you intend on putting weight on.
👤I bought this to fix my RV cover. I have had it on for 3 weeks and it is holding up well, but has turned yellow. If someone needs it to stay clear, this is not for you. I cut the corners to make it harder to peel off. This seems to be helping. I will update the review if it ends up peeling off.
👤The tape was great. I didn't want to cover up the spine of my mom's bible with duct tape because the front cover had started to tear. This was easy to work with. It took me a while to get the tape out of the backing. I couldn't find a place to pull it away. It was tacky and worked better than I had expected.
👤This is a heavy tape with extra glue. If you can hide the repair, it will work, but it will be much heavier than if it was visible. I think it will be less expensive.
👤It was damp when we took the gazebo cover down. I left the deck for an hour to dry, but I didn't see the acorn under it. The squirrel chewed a hole in the cover. This product was used to repair the hole when we put up the cover, just had two days of very wet and very windy weather. I am very pleased and impressed. Great product. This product has far exceeded my expectations after a whole summer of exceptional heat. The gazebo cover was saved. Excellent product.
