👤The bottom of my bumper had a metal brace at each end that held the bottom portion on. There is a After removing the metal braces and screws, I realized how much weight was being held. I used masking tape and jbweld to hold the repair in place. I used a rope arrangement to take off the weight bearing on the area. There is a I was concerned that the masking tape wouldn't stick to the fix. After an hour the jbweld was dry. I waited an hour. Took off tape without issue. The bumper was held in place by hard plastic. It's unbelievable! I didn't prepare the edges of cracks first. I put jbweld inside the crack and then liberally on the front and back of the crack to create a cocoon. The tape is needed to flatten the glue and hold it in place. This is worth every penny. There is a small note. When I did this, I had my bumper off. I would have just applied it if I'd been painting it at the time. I would have used a rope system to hold in place and braces to hold the bumper. People have chosen my response as helpful. My bumper has gone through a lot of pot holes this winter. And still holding on. Thank you again. You saved a lot of money.
👤I'm not sure if this will hold on to the chair arm. A small blob on the back was a test area. I was able to break the seam with a chisel the next day. It was smooth and didn't hold to the poly. I roughed up the area with a Dremel grinding bit and used a solvent to clean it. I hope that helped. The bonder was sticky when mixed but I wanted to get it to settle properly so I put the chair arm on the back and put the area I was applying on the back on top of it. It flowed somewhat when I applied it but only went where I wanted it to go. The J-B Weld website states that the product works on polypropylene. I thought it was an oversight since it seems like it is nearly the same in every other way but the color. I wrote them and never heard back, so I ordered anyway. I'll update the review if they write back or the arm breaks off. It doesn't have a strong smell like a lot of other products like this, which is good. The update was done on the 27th of April. It broke at the seam where black glue and polypropylene meet. It was a clean break and barely adhered to it. I have yet to hear from the company if this glue supports polypropylene, but the results of the research say not really. Instructions don't say anything about an adhesion promoter.
👤The only plastic repair product that is better than this is the JB Weld plastic epoxy putty. This works better than other products if you want a strong thin plastic repair. Buy some fiberglass cloth from the auto parts store and glue it to the back of the plastic sheet. You will make a mess and never get it off of your hands if you don't wear gloves. Don't try to move the cloth around after it is pressed into place; it will break apart easily.

👤This is great. I've been using it for more than five years to do basic repairs. There are a few tips for those who gave bad reviews. The mixing ratio must be correct because it is an epoxy and it must be cut with a knife. It will become less elastic over time so only cut as much as you can. 2. It should be mixed thoroughly. You usually finish kneading in about 2 minutes. There should be one color. Once it is in the right spot, apply immediately and stop touching it. 3. Wait until the cure time is over before allowing it to get stressed out. 4. If you can, keep the unused portion in the original container. 5. If you use an old product that has sat for a while and feels hard, put it in the oven for 15 minutes to warm it up. It will mix well. I live with it because I've found nothing better. It's expensive to use freely. If it weren't so expensive, I could reform parts or fill gaps. 2. It's kind of waterproof. It won't stain but will paint like wood. 3. Shelf life isn't great. I would buy a lot of it to make sure I always have some, but it doesn't last past 2 years. It's best suited for wood. There are other products that work better for general repairs.
👤The ikea display cabinet they bought was broken during delivery because it was shrink wrapped too tight and the hinges were ripped off. This was the best option for repairs because the holes were damaged and not just stripped. Handling playdoh is the same as using it, it's easy to use and not messy. It will never set if you fold it together before you use. The perfect tools for filling in the holes were a knife and comb. You can poke pilot holes before it sets.
👤You will not regret buying this if your dog chews. The product saved my butt. Our dog wanted to prove that he can ruin anything if he puts his mind to it. He chewed the siding on the house. I saw this product and thought it was worth a try, so I was going to hire a handyman. The product is easy to use. I was able to repair it in one day because it dries fast and I was able to paint over it. It smells like peanut butter so be careful not to leave it somewhere that pets or kids can reach. I'm pretty proud of my repair. Probably saved a few hundred dollars. Product is ready for paint after being dried to a cream color.
👤Superb stuff for basic repairs. It's very easy to work with and it's easy to make something that's rock-hard. I used it to mold it into a shape that would fit into the undamaged wood surrounding it. There are two things with that said. 1. If at all, the stuff takes stain well. I saw that it was best to mix the stain with the wood while I was kneading it to get it ready for use. I wish I'd done that. The stain took forever to dry and I'm not sure if it will ever cure. I'm not sure if I want to seal it. It's a huge drawer, will rarely move, but I could see the stain coming off if you had to hold it tightly to pick it up or move it. 2. When it is hardened, it becomes hardened. It is very difficult to sand after it has hardened, so you should make sure it is in its final form before it is fully hardened. I did this, so I have no regrets. There are a couple of small waves that I thought could be smoothed out with sand, but this proved to be very difficult. I let it go because these are small issues. It is highly recommended with the cautions.
It's used for iron and steel casting, sand holes and pores, and filling casting defects. It can be used to repair a lot of things. It's great for multiple surface applications. It's the best for repairs that need a durable bond, gap-filling and solvent resistance. It's ideal for clean, easy finishing. There is plenty of time for the perfect fit. A cap for multiple uses and separate barrels of hardener keep the epoxy from being hardened. A cap for multiple uses and separate barrels of hardener keep the epoxy from being hardened.
👤If at all possible, here are some ideas to follow in your project, having worked with different kinds of epoxy before. I wanted the result to be a "pour" so that the parts were encased in a solid substance. Ignore the little mixing area and get some small cups from the dollar store. Score the 2 parts you are binding if you can. What does that mean? Use a sharp nail file, hard sand paper, and deep cuts like "x" to scratch the two sides. This is a very important step for the bond to grip and should not be skipped. The air bubbles should float to the top when you leave the dispensers upright. I like to use hard clear plastic knives when stirring. You can estimate where to stop with a magic marker line. Plug and push down evenly on both sides to fill your small cup, then quickly pull the plunger back upward to dry the ends off. Don't bother if you are using the whole thing. Stir quickly to 15. The secret is to pour the contents in the second cup, and then stir another 15 seconds using a second clean ring. "Why bother?" is a question you may ask. This is a known technique and it gets rid of mixing problems and creates a rock hard result. I used the second stirring to apply. You could use the wooden stick provided. It's reasonable to pour the contents on to an object, but be aware that tiny bubbles do exist using this epoxy, it sets too fast for a perfect clear look. The final item to consider is temperature. If you want a 24 hour hard cure result, you should put your project somewhere warm that's between 75 and 85 degrees. A well known trick is to put an electric heating pad in a box under some rags. Place your project in a box and cover it up. The box was monitored using a kitchen temperature. If you follow all of the steps, you will get a rock hard plastic like result in the end, and I recommend this product!
👤I was devastated after tipping over my tobacco water pipe, but this epoxy has worked wonders. The ceramic/glass bond is very strong. Highly recommended.
👤Before using this product on an object of interest, newcomers need to practice mixing the epoxy and applying it to something to test the bond strength. The amount of time mixing is needed to reach consistency. The bond will be rubbery if not. The bond will be very strong when mixed properly, but will need a few extra days to cure and become even stronger. It is a good product with a good amount of volume. I used it to fix a pair of headphones.
👤I was looking for an alternative to soldering or torch welding in order to bind copper pipe for non-potable purposes and figured I would give this a try. I don't think this is safe on the pipe used for water. I've had positive experiences with Gorilla brand products in the past. The instructions state to mix the two together for 20 seconds and then use within 5 minutes as it will be the most effective prior to that. The plastic insert packaging can be used as a mixer palate. There is a black plastic tab that is supposed to be used to close the apparatus. The stuff was non-usable before the 5 minutes. I think that this figure is infeluenced by the environment. Since it's not a monsoon season in Arizona, the humidity is very low. Paint dries incredibly quickly. I had to work fast in order to beat the drying time. I didn't work on my project for a few days. I tried to pry it apart, but couldn't. Everything seems to be bonding permanently. It works on copper pipe tubing. It's messy and dries quickly in a hot climate.
The applications of the interior and exterior. Two-part epoxy glue to fill and repair cracks in concrete, and to anchor threaded rods, bolts, and dowels into concrete, grout-filled block, and unreinforced masonry. High-tack paste can be used in vertical applications. Can be used in indoor and outdoor applications with an application temperature range from 35 to 115 degrees F and a service temperature range from -20 to +115 degrees F. Cure time is 4 hours and 20 minutes and work time is 20 minutes. Formulated for anchoring threaded rods, bolts, rebars and smooth dowels into concrete, grout filled block and unreinforced masonry. PC-Concrete is an excellent choice for filling and repairing cracks in concrete.
👤I spent hundreds of dollars on over a dozen tubes of this stuff because I thought it would be a permanent repair. See the second photograph. It cracked, split, and is a mess after one winter. It turned different shades when wet, which is odd since you would assume an epoxy would be waterproof. The dark crack fill in the photo is an inexpensive clear epoxy glue that I used to make the photo look flawless. That stuff isn't meant to be used as crack fill or even outside. It was cheap. Go figure. It's funny how little product is in the tube. The preparation of the crack is hard. It's easy to apply the filler. The color is grey. It doesn't look obvious if it's off white. I ordered four more tubes. Probably won't be enough. Hope it lasts a long time without maintenance. A picture shows a tube next to a ruler. There is a new photo for the color change after the filler cures. I've used seven tubes so far and have more to go. The original estimate was four. The caulking gun I bought from PC Products is so easy to use that it's hard to believe. It's doing all the work for me. You can empty the tube more thoroughly if you invest in one.
👤On October 27th, the order was placed, and received on October 30th. I ordered this product again because I was happy it worked so well. The product was harder to squeeze out than before. I probably wouldn't have reordered the first time if it had been that difficult. I noticed the use by date when I looked at the instructions. The product does make a difference and I would recommend returning it.
👤I used this to reinforce concrete. I read the instructions, pushed some out until both colors came out, and then pushed the epoxy out until the color was consistent - which was almost immediately. The nozzle worked well and I had no problems injecting the epoxy into the holes. I used the rest of the tube to patch the cracks. The application was easy to understand. The holes did not run out of the epoxy. This epoxy didn't come out after you let go of thetrigger just from the spring pressure in the plunger. It is easy to apply and there is no mess. I wore gloves that didn't have any epoxy on them. The tube didn't fit into the business end of my caulking gun, and I had to grind it to get it in and out when it was empty. I didn't try it with any other guns, so I don't know if that's a peculiarity of my gun. Not a big issue in the end.
👤This product is not good. I used 3 tubes of this junk to seal a small leak in my basement wall. It says it will work underwater. It couldn't stop a small leak in a dry environment. No directions, not even on the tube! The tube talks about how great it is. I put it on the walls. I waited over night after injecting it. Still available. It says 20 minute work time. I had to speed up the process by putting a fan on it. It was still soft an hour later. It costs less and works better than this.

Concrete PRO can be applied with any standard size caulk gun and 600ml dual cartridge caulk gun. PC-Concrete PRO can be used in smooth bore holes, unlike other anchoring epoxies. It can be used in dry, saturated, and water-filled conditions.
👤The 1 stall garage was badly damaged. After grinding, washing and etching the floor, I put down 106 ounces (3 tubs) and 3 caulk tubes of the same stuff in tube form. Next step is 2 coats of paint, sprinkles and clear coats. This stuff gets really hard. I hope it lasts a long time. After reading reviews and watching videos on many products, I have the most faith in this product for a long lasting repair. The price was something I didn't like. $300 in concrete repair and another $300 for the coating to fix the garage. I was aware of the costs going in. If it works, I will be happy, if it doesn't, I will be kicking myself. It would take a lot of skill to finish a large area. It is like troweling honey. If you make it smooth you will make it worse. I chose the slightly anti bumpy slip surface over sanding after. Good luck getting this out of your trowel. The floor still looks beautiful after 6 months. This is the first picture. The second picture is before. The 3rd picture is a gray painted with 2 clear coats.
👤I bought this product after researching different brands of epoxies. I poured our new cast-in-place concrete countertops using a Lowe's countertop mix. The forms can be removed after 18 hours. I waited 24 hours before removing the forms, but I should have waited longer. I found that out the hard way when a piece of concrete broke off my counter. DANGIT. The chunk broke off in one piece. It was a perfect fit when pressed back into place. The broken chunk was attached to it's original position using the simple instructions on the package. I held the chunk in place by hand for 25 minutes and then taped it to the wall to hold it overnight. The heavy chunk of concrete is not broken. If I whacked it with a hammer, the concrete around the repair would shatter before the glue lets go. The gray color is very close to the raw concrete and the repair seam is very thin. The concrete will be nearly invisible once it is stained. This is a good, strong, and easy to use glue for repairing broken concrete, not just for filling gaps and cracks, but also for actually reattaching chunks of concrete. When I called PC Products to inquire about the product, I got a person who was very knowledgeable about it. Excellent.
👤I rarely write reviews. I probably did three in my life. I had to use this product for this one. The crack in my poured basement wall was developed over a dozen years ago. Over the past 12 years, the wall would leak only with large amounts of rain. I've tried everything from hydrolic cement to Flex Seal. Nothing worked. There is no way to get to the crack from the outside. I looked at other options. The problem is the lower portion, where most water comes in. The cheapest price I could find was $1,000. I was told to grind and chisel crack wider then use some super duper epoxy. My son asked his teacher what he should do. He suggested this product. I took a diamond blad grinder and cleaned the area. I ground a small channel along the crack. Active waterping in was the problem I was running into. I used a propane tourch to fix this. The flame should be put into the crack to stop the water. The last step was to acid wash the area after knowing this would stop the flow. The area was removed from it's original state. The torch hit the two compounds. It was a bit thinner than I expected but still went on. That was two days ago. Since it was put in, it has rained twice. Solid as rock. Three pictures were included with the review. The first thing you can see is the brown on the wall. I ground the crack and put score marks on it to help it grip the wall. The last one is done. The product worked better than expected and I am very happy with it.

👤I am using this to fix plastic panels in a car that have tab sockets missing or cracked. I have found that this plastic is good for shaping thicker missing pieces, but it's almost useless for strengthening an existing tab sockets, because my work was just too thin to use this material. I discovered that the existing tab sockets can be strengthened with epoxy, but it's terrible at replacing the missing material. I have a complete working panel if I use this plastic to form the missing parts and strengthen it and the cracked sockets. I needed both. I like how this material can be sanded and shaped. I am using Gorilla 2 Part Epoxy.
👤I worked the putty and it never hardened. When I contacted the company to see if they had any tips on why it didn't work, they suggested I purchase the product again and clean the surface. I cleaned the surface. Maybe it's good for soft plastic and not hard plastic, or maybe you need to work the putty for 20 minutes. I needed a plan of action to purchase and try again. Buying again seemed like throwing good money after bad.
👤I used this to fill equipment holes in my truck. It was used by the police in Texas and when they removed all the lights, radios, and cameras, it left over 20 holes. I cleaned and filled the holes with this putty after removing all the trim. I sanded them all and prepared them for painting. Some manufacturers have paint that matches the original interior colors of plastic and vinyl. You never knew where the holes were after painting. This is a great stuff that can be sands and painted. I will use this on my next vehicle.
👤My car's smart key broke. I was able to fix it and save $150.
👤This was a pretty good way to fix a plastic bumper. I had to do 3x rounds of applying sand and shape, but I finally got it to be a 7 out of 10. I had some air bubbles. Unlike Bondo, this is hard to form to the dent as you can't sand it after. You have to sand and sand and sand. If you want a permanent fix for a plastic bumper, this is your stuff.
👤My wife hit something solid with the front bumper of her car. The cut was six inches long. I tried to blend it in using regular glue and paint, but I couldn't seal the cut. I realized that the one piece of the solution I had been missing was the J-B Weld PlasticWeld when I saw it. I used white fiber duct tape to cover the backside of the bumper after I pushed it together as closely as I could. I made sure that the duct tape and undamaged edges of the cut were protected by putting the putty into the front of the cut. I probed the putty to see if it stuck to the tape and the bumper after it dried. It was a simple process of sanding it down and applying the proper paint to blend it in. It's done! You couldn't tell if the bumper had been damaged. If you hadn't tried this simple solution, this repair would have caused you to buy a new bumper. I tell myself that thousands of people have solved the same problem before me when I have a problem that I haven't attacked before. Is they smarter than me? Maybe a lot of them. I think about what needs to be done and come up with a plan. If we just think about how to do it, we can fix a lot of things. Chances are that you will learn something from making the effort, even if you don't succeed on the first attempt. Try again with your new knowledge. You will get it worked out after a few tries.
Colorado won't. FADE TO YELLOW, or SHRINK: It should be formulated to keep it's color and keep it from sagging once cured. Two-part Multipurpose epoxy glue works as a bonding agent, sealant, and filler for a range of indoor and outdoor applications. Many materials are bonds, including fiberglass, wood, concrete, many metals, brick, glass, ceramic, and rubber. Plumbing and masonry cracks can be found as well as oil, gas, and water tank leaks. It fills holes and casts. The application temperature range is 35 to 115 degrees F, and the service temperature range is -20 to +200 degrees F. PC-7 For large and critical jobs, which allow the user to make changes, the user can work for extended periods of time. Overhead and sidewall work can be done with a high "wet grab" or tack of PC-7 Paste Epoxy.
👤Great substance. It does not dry very quickly. There are a lot of good comments and user reviews about how temperature affects curing time. The instructions should be read. I've used it to fill a chip in my counter top, to patch holes in a brick wall, and to fix plastic parts that CA wouldn't adhere to. I used a clothes pin to hold it in place while it cured. I can confirm that PC-7 does not stick to wax paper. This stuff seems to stick to everything else. I did not remove stars from the review, but I did mention that Amazon's packaging was not up to par. A pound of plastic containers should not be shipped in an envelope. Before cutting the shrink wrap plastic that holds the containers together, make sure you check your containers. One of my plastic lids was damaged during shipping.
👤The truck's drip rail was starting to split, letting water in. The correct repair is to replace the roof of the truck. Not happening. I was looking for an excellent 2 part epoxy but couldn't find it in the quantity I needed. I found this stuff, cleared up the rail with a wire wheel, and applied PC 7 in the crevasse with a gloved finger. A bit of sanding, primer and paint.
👤This stuff is amazing. It's difficult to work with since it mixes to the consistency of a peanut butter but it dries to a hard, permanent repair. I used this to fill in a few holes in a leather helmet, one of them being about 4 square inches. You can't tell the hole was there because of the different color of the dried epoxy. It takes work to cure the cured epoxy. I used an air powered angle grinder and a sanding disk to remove the dried epoxy then hand sanded it. I have found a replacement for JB Weld with this epoxy and am very pleased with it. The cure time is dependent on the temperature and can take up to a couple days to fully harden so it's not really the go to product for a quick job. For the price of two JB Weld kits, you can get a kit that is 20 times the amount of product.
👤I tried this a few years ago and it worked well. It was used maybe 3 times. I didn't need to use it again because I forgot about it. I needed it and opened the bottles. The containers were sealed. I bought the saw around the year 2015. I thought. "eh... Maybe it has a shelf life. In April of this year, I ordered some more. It was almost hard to open the bottles. Wow. It would take more than a tongue depressor to get it out of the bottles. One trying. I got equal amounts of cardboard to mix. It's like trying to stir cement. It will not mix. This was a good experience. I stopped trying to save and just bought the stuff that this brand mimicked. For reference...JB Weld. I found the tubes in the tool room. I got them a decade ago. Still works, guess what? Tra La La.

👤A video shows how to repair a broken computer hinge. I'd tried a lot of different methods, including the ones mentioned above, but it just wasn't working here. I followed the instructions and let it cure for about 40 hours, and it was just amazing. It really worked. The consistency is a bit like gummier pudding. It wasn't too thick and it was easy to spread. I've had both of those problems with other methods. The hold was kept for two years after I was clued in. I'll add a video soon of the repaired hinge, and update if things don't work out. If you don't see any updates, you should assume that things are still holding strong.
👤I used this to glue broken bits of old cement garden statues and it worked great. It dries gloss, just one caveat.
👤This is a great material to use. I used it to bond many other materials. It doesn't bond well with either of those materials. On the packaging, it does note that.
👤They suggested this product after watching a video on repairing a steering wheel. Sand is easy to use. Can't wait to see it painted.
👤I had a major crack in my laptop near the hinge and it helped it, even with the movement it still holds and I don't see any sign of small crack or tearing.
👤Good product. It has an excellent bond and has an excellent working time.
👤My daughter used this product to fix a broken piece on my computer.
👤Mon fils is a arraché la porte du congélateur. The porte du congel lui is tombée dessus. la poignée... vive le garons. It's impossible to remettre in place la porte du congel.
👤The pack of Araldite was not what was shown. The pack shown in the picture is the standard pack containing British made Araldite, which I received in a battered cardboard box. Who knows if the glue is the same. Not as pictured or described is what I said.
👤The old Araldite used to be great. I don't know what they've changed, but the new stuff doesn't want to stick to plastic. I've tried to fix a Dyson vacuum cleaner that broke and didn't stick to it, but it came away within days. I tried to fix a broken pedal bin and a pair of headphones with the same failed result. The old stuff would stick to metal. The new stuff isn't very good. I'm still looking for something better. I have been using J-B Weld Plasticweld for the last couple of years as a replacement for Araldite with greater success. The tube is double-syringe.
👤Araldite is a name. It is one of the strongest two-part glues I have used. The product starts off very runny and cures slowly so you need a way to hold the parts together for a while. The slow cure is very strong. I use it in manufacturing Morse code keys and it gets used for anything that needs a forever bond. Sometimes I use Araldite to bind a patch of nylon mesh around a part, and sometimes I use it to repair a friend's mini glass Christmas tree. Fantastic stuff. I use a tip to hold things in place, which is to apply the Araldite and push the parts together, then put some Bondic in places over the Araldite and cure it with the UV light. The Bondic works until the Araldite cures. If you don't know what Bondic is, look up it. It's great for supporting things and the main Araldite joint cures over a day or two.
The country of origin is the United States. The Original Cold Weld two-part epoxy system was designed as an alternative to torch welding. J-B Weld Original creates a bond stronger than steel by repairing multiple surfaces. It's perfect for household, automotive, marine, and much more. Set time and constriction are important. 👤Whenever I need to make a heavy duty repair that I want to last a lifetime, I always use JB. I bought it in the 70s and it still has the same packaging. When you don't have to repackage your product, you need to have confidence in it. There was plastered on the packaging. It might be because you can't improve something that's already perfect. There is a Don't fix it if it isn't broken. If it is broken, fix it. I think I should sell them that line.

👤I wouldn't use this stuff to "weld" my engine block. I think it's the best ever. It's been my go-to when I need a strong bond. It's inexpensive and it's given added longevity to many items I own. I try to keep some of this stuff around. It's five stars for sure, but there are a couple things to be aware of. It works best if you can keep the item stable and let it rest for 24 hours. It's worth the wait. There are two more It's ugly. When you mix the stuff together and let it dry, it becomes a dark gray. You are not buying this stuff to be stylish. If you need it to look good, you can paint it. Testor's model paint works well with a small paint brush. When using it, put newspapers down. It's difficult to remove the epoxy when it's wet. Have fun if it dries. It will stay on your skin or fingernails for a while. Either use gloves or not. Tubes that have been opened and used can cause some grief, so it's a good idea to put them in a bag. The unmixed stuff is difficult to clean up. The tubes are not good forever once you open them.
👤I had to fix a dressmaker's dummy for my wife. The metal welds securing a slip ring broke free and the dummy looked like a drunken sailor. I apologize to my forebears who were faithful swabbies in the US Navy. I followed the directions after I saw this product online. It cured in 6 hours and was solid after 24 hours, it was easy to apply with a popsicle stick. This is not part-to-part glueing, but rather vertical-to-horizontal welding, which is a true test. My wife is happy that the dummy is back to being full dumminess.
You can do it yourself with J-B Weld. They can repair and restore it right away. J-B Weld is the world's strongest bond. 1.06 ounce of fiberglass.
👤99% of the readers here have mixed and used 5 minute epoxy before and had no difficulty. They had to end the myth of mixing errors in America. They separated my internal wall by putting the hardener in a plastic bag. You squeeze to break the internal wall and then massage the bag. Nice, huh? It was very convenient to have no mess. Nope. It takes a long time to mix the two. Customers blame themselves for not working fast enough in other reviews. The victims blaming themselves is amazing. The product is a success because it is impossible to use it again. Thank you to Devcon! A lot of us have shower doors that are hard to clean. We ripped them out and left 800-361-3020 The reviewer's wife thinks he is a magician and he used blue masking tape around the holes to fix them. I was swayed to buy this product by his review. There are some cautions I add when patching holes on a vertical surface. Even if you cleaned, the blue tape sticks better to the epoxy. The tape may be harmful to the epoxy. If you do it too late, you could rip all the epoxy out of the hole. If you do it too soon, the epoxy will flow out and down. This could mean that you need to have someone on each hole to help out during the drying process. We had more holes on each side of the shower because we had more than one door. 2. I would build a small dam out of tape. 3. The pot life for this stuff is very short, so don't try to push it back in the hole with a putty knife. It can't be smoothed once it starts to set, it tears it up, and your hole isn't filled. You will forget a spot when you rush to finish before it all hardens. I might buy this product again, even though it is overpriced, and I would avoid mixing it in their bag, even though I want it to be a single use product. I would either pre-dispense the resin and hardener into separate containers, or I would cut a corner off each end of the bag and put it into a mixing cup only as needed. The best advice I can give is that you don't worry about how much sanding you have to do. If you can get a small amount of a substance to fill your holes, the sanding won't be difficult. Better advice would be to find white epoxy.
👤It's stronger than you think, mix color in a small amount. A patch was put in my tub. It looks alright. To prevent further cracking, be sure to drill a hole at the top and bottom of the crack. It becomes tacky and hard to manipulate after about 3 minutes, so it's a minis 1 star. The package led me to believe I had 20 minutes to fix the tub, but it was working slow. It was ugly due to lack of time feathering out the edges, but holds water well and matches color perfectly. Next time, I will buy it and work faster.

👤Have used multiple times for the highest heat conditions. If you follow the instructions, it will be a very strong and permanent repair. The area must be clean. If you have a good solvent, clean the grease off first. Attach a wire wheel to a drill to clean the rust off. The metal needs to be shiny. 2. The mini-grinder has a cut off wheel. 3. Cut off the amount that is needed. Rub between your hands like you are rolling a snake. Roll another snake by folding it back. For two minutes, do this over and over again. 4. Take a small portion off and put it on the surface. Press hard. Put it on the surface. Eventually it will stick and not fall off. Do this for the entire area. It should take about a minute. 5. Press and pull the edges inward, then press again. The edges should not pull away. Use a good hand cleaner and scrub brush to clean hands. Let it dry.
👤As a 35 years-plus aircraft maintainer with the Boeing Co., I can attest to the fact that you have to prepare the surface for the glue to work. There is a Sand away any paint or rust that may be on the metal surface. The acetone shouldn't be found anywhere it doesn't belong. After removing the heavy grime, wipe the area with acetone and a clean white rag or Q-tip, only in one direction. Continue with a clean wipe, until there is no visibleContamination on the wipe. There is a Immediately after, use a spray bottle and a clean white rag or Q-tip to wipe the area. Each time, wipe acetone away with a clean wipe. When possible, spray the area and let it air dry. There is a It is advisable not to touch the area with your skin as it will leave oils and affect a good bond. There is a The metal is drawn out of it by acetone. There is a If you use the alcohol on the plastic part, it will not damage the plastic.
👤I regret buying this and putting it on my car because I was hoping it would plug my exhaust manifolds. It went on easy, just roll it into a snake and roll it onto itself for a few minutes until it becomes consistent. I prepared the area by sanding down, grinding, and applying alcohol. 2 hours of preparation and installation. Allow it to cure for almost 28 hours. It would cure better if it was given an extra 4 because of the extra sun and heat. After those hours, it started burning and causing white smoke with a terrible chemical smell. That lasted for 3 days. I wasn't able to drive my car for 3 days. I had to drive it only at night to try to burn it all off and not get stopped by the cops. They would have thought I was catching fire because of the amount of smoke. I attached a picture of how the new exhaust manifolds looked and what I was trying to cover when I did the replacement. Which was the crack on the manifold and where it meets the flange. Terrible product, not meant for high temperatures. The headaches and terrible smell should be taken care of. The money was returned by Amazon.
