👤The outdoor faucet pipe broke due to the freeze. The garden hose outlet is not subject to the pressure of a indoor pipe, but it works without leaking. If I had a plumbing professional replace the pipe, it would be easy to use and save 200 dollars. It was in an accessible spot for me. You are supposed to have at least two inches on either side of the leak spot. It worked despite no room for that with my leak. I allowed it to set longer than normal.
👤I can't speak about the effectiveness of this product, as it didn't work out. I watched a video on how to use this and read the back of the package. You have to watch this because one of the steps was to knead the material until one color. It was hard and unusable before I could place it, because I was not prepared for this, and it warms up and hardens pretty fast.
👤I had a small leak that would slowly form into a drop. I tried this because I didn't want to hire a plumbing professional to fix the pipe. I followed the instructions and used a bandage over the tape to hold it in place, but the tape doesn't actually seal off the leak. It just drips the leak from the edge of the tape. The section of pipe that I was going to replace was old. I had to order Amazon because it was delivered to the wrong house.
👤The connection to the tee was leaking. It worked well for my application and was holding under pressure for a few weeks. It was difficult to create overlap with the amount of tape provided. If you want a straight pipe, buy few packages with a larger diameter.
👤This product does not work. I followed all the directions and used the putty provided to make the water trickle from both sides of the wrap and the original hole. I just ended up cutting the entire pipe off because it became so hard that it was so bad.
👤The mix is too hot and hard to apply. It's useless. I might have got a bad mix.
👤I kneaded the epoxy for a short time and it became too hard to apply to the pipe, but I don't know if I got an old batches. Completely useless. It should say so on the instructions if you need to use it in 30 seconds or less. It's complete waste of money. I bought 2 of them and they both hardened very quickly.
👤This was a great way to fix a pool leak. Always use the gloves provided. The sticky substance can be very hard to remove from the skin.
The two-part marine paste bonds materials in a variety of environments. Many materials are bonds, including fiberglass, concrete, metals, glass, ceramic, and rubber. It can be used in both indoor and outdoor applications with a temperature range of 35 to 115 degrees F. In overhead applications, high-tack paste can be used. Resists mild acids, caustics, detergents, gasoline, fuel oil, and fresh and salt water.
👤Sometimes I wish I could give a "six star" rating to a product that I am positive about. This is one of those times. I am very happy with this. I've used a lot of epoxies. It has good consistency. It's easy to mix. It's easy to apply. Good life with pot. The sets are very hard. I love it! I had to repair a crack in the fiberglass tank of the pool filter, which has to hold up to 20 psig pressure. I used a fiberglass cloth to reinforce the inside. I hammered to form and affix with epoxy, four steel strips across the crack, which I then covered over with more epoxy. The repair is holding up well and I hope to get more life out of the filter. I've used it for many other repairs. Totally satisfied.
👤I ordered this product because I know it is a good one and I hate when people give bad reviews to products because of shipping or other problems unrelated to the quality of the product. , I want to warn people. I purchased this, 1lb 2 part epoxy paste, and it arrived with a large crack in the lid of one of the containers making it impossible to seal and preserve the product. I returned it and was very pleased with Amazon, but it had the same damage to the lid as the first one, so I had to return it again. I don't think I'll get another replacement because I think it will have the same damage.
👤This is a thick product so you will have to build your arms up to mix it. The thickness is good because it won't fall on a vertical surface. I used it to patch up a deteriorated piece in a fountain and it looks like it's the perfect product for that. It doesn't move, sticks like a stick, and sets hard. The can says 30 minutes, but it really takes about 24 hours to set hard. I used a metal food can for mixing, but don't use a plastic cup unless you're mixing a very small amount - it will break when mixing. I recommend using disposable nitrile gloves as they tend to get on your hands during mixing. It can be cleaned with a paper towel and some alcohol.
👤I am not sure if this product would do the job. I don't see how it would cure under water unless you use a lot of gardener, more than equal parts. I applied it using equal parts at about 11am the day before, and it was 60o f the next day. It's still sticky and gummy after 54of, sunny, no rain. I think they should give a gardener once more. Equal parts are not doing it. They stay gummy for a period of time longer than specified, but then they become gummy again and become hardened after several hours. This one is still sticky, gummy and uncured after almost 23 hours. Frustrating. Unless you use a larger amount of hardener, I don't know how this will cure under water. Equal amounts are not doing it.
The easy-to-use syringe has separate barrels of hardener and a cap for multiple uses. 5 Oz Tubes of J-B Weld KwikWeld is the professional size. J-B Weld KwikWeld is steel reinforced, has a tensile strength of 3127 PSI, and can be used in a variety of environments. It is waterproof when fully cured. There are surface applications. 👤I've been making and painting my own miniatures for years. You have to assemble yourself with arms that are separate pieces. These parts are often very thin and have small projections. You need something that is strong to hold that. Every time I glue them together with Gorilla Glue, I think the seal on the part is good. I finish painting it and it falls over during the game. I carry it to the game and it snaps off when I get there. Super glue is brittle. I don't know why I bother. I have to carry it with my hands as if it's an egg every time I use it. I have to glue it back together again if it gets dropped. Some people recommended pinning the pieces instead of drilling tiny holes on each side, because the attachment is stronger. It worked well for miniatures with larger parts to attach, but it was very labor intensive to drill those tiny holes with the hand drill, and it couldn't be used on some of the more lithe figures. One person mentioned a product that sounded like it was what I was looking for. I've spent the past month going through a bunch of minis that I really love but can't finish because their arms break off. I just have to get them in the right position with my Helping Hands, mix the epoxy, put a dab on the attachment point, and move the hands back in place to hold them there. I can do whatever I want with it in a few hours, as if it were a single piece of pewter. The only time the seal has broken was when the attachment point had a bit of dust or paint on it, and it came off after setting, leaving the other side clean. It's really solid now after I added a bit more epoxy on it.
👤It's easy to mix and use in magnets to close kitchen cabinet doors, my wrought iron lawn chairs, jewelery, and my kitchen aid mixer. It has an odor but it doesn't linger long. If it gets on your clothes. It's permanent! Be careful, so be careful! I always have this on hand.
👤It worked well for aluminum to aluminum. I had an aluminum propane regulator that a handyman broke while fastening it to the aluminum brackets that hold it to the front of my RV. I tried to solder the broken screw out of the regulator but it wouldn't stick to the aluminum and I couldn't get it out. I wanted to get a different kind of solder for this one repair job, so I looked on Amazon and found this, which one reviewer said worked for aluminum to aluminum. I mixed some together in a disposable plastic container, applied a generous amount between the propane regulator and the brackets, and within 6 minutes, the brackets did not move at all. I am confident that it will not break during road travel. If I ever have to replace the propane regulator, I may have to purchase a new bracket, but I am very pleased with the easy and solid fix, as it will take me 15-20 years to replace it. Highly recommended!

👤Don't buy from AMAZON! I keep getting the same product. It's either old or not in good condition. I've been using 1 -2 tubes for 5 years and I'm familiar with them. I receive tubes that are either rock solid or extremely brittle. It won't work if it's not very soft. It doesn't have any glue at all. Over 50% of the tubes I've received have been different degrees of defects. It seems like it's ok to buy from Amazon again. I haven't had any issues with Amazon since I started buying again. I had to check each tube before purchasing in-store, so it was something on the manufacturers end.
👤This is an excellent product. I suggest you rethink your approach if it didn't do the job for you. Why would I say that? We bought the house a couple of years ago and the outdoor water supply was engineered, so I had to tackle multiple active leaks on an outdoor fire hydrant-like bit of plumbing. Multiple active leaks were developed by the unit. The main water supply has water pressure. The leaks were on the order of 1/16 inch holes. First, clean the surface. I used dish soap and alcohol with rough sponges. Sand the surface. The putty should be kneaded. I think the package says grey but to my eyes it was white, so make sure you knead it to a homogeneity of color, and cut the roll in half longitudinally. The mixing of the core and shell components will be aided by this. It will start to smell like urine when it's ready. Use a volume of waterweld that will allow you to apply good pressure without it getting too thin. I was fighting active leaks. I learned that for this type of problem, you have to apply the waterweld to the leak and then apply constant pressure for about 10 minutes so that it can resist the water pressure. If it isn't, the water pressure will cause it to bubble up and cause a hole. I applied pressure myself. It's not fun to do. It worked. Make sure you push it down so that you can get good contact. I applied more of the sides and the top just for measure. It worked great against active leaks from the main water supply when prepared properly. Gloves would be a good idea, but I found it hard to manipulate with bare hands. If you wet your hands it will make it easier to manipulate, as I had to apply manual pressure for a long time, and the putty sticking to my hands. I ended up with a encrusted hand because of the leaks. I suggest using acetone to remove dried putty from your hands. I soaked triple layers of paper towels in acetone and then wrapped them around my hands and used a soaked paper towel to scrub the gunk off my hands. Put your hands in water. All done. Waterweld is great.
👤The product works perfectly. I've used it to fix sinks, a leaking hull, and other things. It does the task and can be finished well. Do not purchase this from AMAZON. I love supporting Amazon, but the few times I've tried, the product is delivered to me compromised. It can be exposed during shipping or stored in an enviornment where the temperatures and humidity affect its curing. Three instances of ordering came with compromised performance. If you want to experience this product in person, you can purchase it at your local hardware store or mass retailer. I know it won't be as convenient as having it delivered to you, but some things are meant to be bought in store, and this is one of them. This product does not benefit from weather and storage. It would be like ordering a head of lettuce from Amazon, selecting "No-Rush" shipping, and seeing the condition it would arrive in a week later when subjected to fluctuating temperatures and environments. Go support your local business by purchasing this item, and keep the image of that head of lettuce in your head. There is still a good reason for retail.

👤This is a very good glue. You need to do a few things to make sure you have a good relationship. You need to get equal amounts of both the hardener and the epoxy in the tubes for it to cure properly. I would start it on a paper towel and then I would put the amount I needed into a cup. If you don't mix the two components thoroughly, it will not cure properly and you will have to mix another component. If it is left exposed to sunlight, it will break down in a year or so, so it would be best to paint it or cover it. The surfaces need to be clean to get a good bond; lightly sanding the surface before application will improve the bond. Fine sawdust can be added until it is like peanut butter, which will keep it from sagging on a vertical surface before it cures.
👤Several reviews stated that the product does not work on the plastic that is listed in the packaging. I'm glad I took the chance. The washer was useless because a plastic tab holding the timer in place had broken. I decided to glue the tab back in place because a full control panel cover would cost over $100. I had the first try with the original. It didn't work. I had to take the dried glue off with a pocket knife and then order the plastic weld from the store. I cleaned the plastic parts with alcohol and let them dry before I started mixing the plastic welder. I applied a thin film with a toothpick and set the tab in place, pressing down for several minutes with a clean toothpick. I spread more glue on top of the seam to reinforce it because it was a tiny piece with an important job. I let it cure for 48 hours. I know the package says one hour, but this is my last chance to get out of this cheaply. The control panel cover was replaced this morning after I put the timer back in place. I held my breath as I pushed the timer skirt back into place. I pushed it in to start the washer, even though I was still holding my breath. I am on the fifth load of the day and it works great. The moral of the story is that the manufacturer is the one who should be trusted, not a disgruntled purchaser. This glue is very strong and works on ABS.
👤This stuff saved my life. The post shaft for the knob broke off and I had to replace the timer. 65 dollars later, the stupid thing broke again, and this time it was stripped. I tried a lot of things, including super glue. Finally purchased this and it was the first one I bought. It's like cement. The strength between the plastic and plastic makes it impossible for the knob to be twisted multiple times a day. I'm incredibly thankful I found a solution that I was not happy with. I filled the knob and put it over the post for a few days. It's not budging.

Lifetime Technical Support, rubber special glue, rubber glue for rubber, rubber glue for rubber, and rubber special glue are included in the 20g rubber glue.
👤The use of Rubber did not stay on for a long time.
👤The sole of one of my Vans tennis shoes completely separated from the cloth material inside. The material, rubber sole and rubber outside edge were all coated with this glue. I lightly tightened it. I put on my Vans and waited for the repairs to fall apart. The glue has not failed since three weeks ago. There is a dark substance between the soul and the outside edge of the shoe in the picture. I highly recommend the product for any glue needs that require flexibility.

👤It says that the metal in the Amazon description and on the back of the card is not the same as the front. I wondered if I could use it to bond two pieces of aluminum, so I asked the community and got a couple of "yes" answers. It doesn't stick to aluminum or steel at all. The "what's the real answer?" is being continued. It says on the front of the card that it cures in one hour. The back of the card says that it only cures overnight, but in reality it takes a full 24 hours to completely harden, and then it doesn't adhere to the metal work pieces. The label obscures the cylinders, so I didn't know this was the epoxy. The first couple of tries at getting a mix of 50 percent hardener and 50 percent resin failed because one cylinder would release a small amount of product, while the other would emit an air bubble with a smaller amount of product. If it's not a perfect 50-50 mix, it will leave you with a mess. If you're using it for something other than metal, you should peel the label off, stand the applicator vertically, and wait for the air bubble to rise to the top before you use it.
👤30 minutes prior to the review, this product was received. I mixed it according to their directions. It was a nightmare to get a resemblance of the proper mixture. The product should be mixed per the directions. I am waiting for the 5-minute epoxy to cure after I applied the glue. I went as far as to mix four different batches to make sure I wasn't making a mistake. Not a single one of them set in 5 minutes. I would like to rant about this, but my advice is to not purchase this product. I wasted my money.
👤It's still not a fused mess. One would hope that the tip would work. I used it on a plastic that didn't respond well to E6000, Testors 3509, or a CA glue. Strength and absorption are excellent. You should mark the tip and tube to know which way the cap fits. You don't want to put the cap on 180o off and have the catalyst get close to the other tube. If you don't look at the guide slot, you can get the tube cap backwards. There is a spot of red paint on the two parts.
👤Glued plastic to plastic. Both pieces were clean and roughed up a bit to make sure they had an effective bond. I allowed the project to cure for four days. The plastic components were separated with very little force. I was able to peel the glue off in one easy effort. The fake glue never hardened. This was a waste of time and money. I am going to throw the rest in the trash.
👤The gods sweat and make this stuff. At first, it was cloudy and kind of gel like. I was dried perfectly clear and it was stronger than the original material. This part will break elsewhere before it does. Maybe I should stop backing my boat into trees.
Return to service in less than 60 minutes is possible with the use of the Epoxy putty stick. Cures white; bonds to tile, fiberglass, concrete, gunite, grout, PVC, wood and various metals. Repairs boats, spas, swimming pools, shower basins, stock tanks, copper and PVC pipes. Two-part white epoxy putty is used for rapid marine, pool, and plumbing repairs. No need for mixing or application tools.
👤The problem with the aluminum siding was stubborn. Bondo was one of the products that I tried. They never lasted more than a year. The sun and rain loosen the siding on the hot side of the house. It was easy to mold and match the texture of the siding, unlike bondo, which you have to get right the very first few minutes. We have used it to fill in a crease on a bumper before painting it to make it appear less damaged. The original purpose of the stuff was to fix the chip. The only thing that would change was the chip. The color wasn't a perfect match, but a big black chip looked bad, and this stuff was easy to smooth to the tub height, making it look better than just painting the chip. Very happy with the product. You can use a moistened finger to get it nice and smooth.
👤It works great for an above ground pool with a few holes. It is not hard to mold under water, just have a few minutes to mold it and get it flat. I used patch kits and nothing worked, so I bought this because I didn't want to empty the whole pool to patch the holes. Also worked on the pump hose. I live in a place where it is very hot in the summer and it's nice to have when the heat burns holes. It takes about 2 minutes to mix the two layers together.
👤There was a lot of water by the transom when I was on the river with my boat. When we stopped to make camp, I found a small gash in the floor which was covered by my gear. I mixed it together and slapped it on the outside and inside. I continued the trip with no money water after stopping the leak. It's great to have in a pinch.
👤I used this to fix a mug. I used the epoxy putty to mold the handle after reconstructing it with ceramic glue. The ugly repair to the broken pieces was covered by this. I put it in the over on 200 degrees for about an hour and a half because it cured slower than I expected. I let it sit for another day and it was perfect. The mug is very solid and I have slammed it on the counter. My handle is now custom molded to my hand. My only complaint is that it picked up my fingerprints. I think so.
👤It worked out well. It is soft and pliable to apply. I didn't wait, but it was easily cured the next day. The water was used to seal the pool gap. It was difficult to get it off of the concrete surface I was working on, but it stayed after a minute. If you don't apply with a tool, it will take a while to remove the white substance from your hands. Other compounds might have worked better, but regular soap and garage goop didn't work.

👤This is great. I've been using it for more than five years to do basic repairs. There are a few tips for those who gave bad reviews. The mixing ratio must be correct because it is an epoxy and it must be cut with a knife. It will become less elastic over time so only cut as much as you can. 2. It should be mixed thoroughly. You usually finish kneading in about 2 minutes. There should be one color. Once it is in the right spot, apply immediately and stop touching it. 3. Wait until the cure time is over before allowing it to get stressed out. 4. If you can, keep the unused portion in the original container. 5. If you use an old product that has sat for a while and feels hard, put it in the oven for 15 minutes to warm it up. It will mix well. I live with it because I've found nothing better. It's expensive to use freely. If it weren't so expensive, I could reform parts or fill gaps. 2. It's kind of waterproof. It won't stain but will paint like wood. 3. Shelf life isn't great. I would buy a lot of it to make sure I always have some, but it doesn't last past 2 years. It's best suited for wood. There are other products that work better for general repairs.
👤The ikea display cabinet they bought was broken during delivery because it was shrink wrapped too tight and the hinges were ripped off. This was the best option for repairs because the holes were damaged and not just stripped. Handling playdoh is the same as using it, it's easy to use and not messy. It will never set if you fold it together before you use. The perfect tools for filling in the holes were a knife and comb. You can poke pilot holes before it sets.
👤You will not regret buying this if your dog chews. The product saved my butt. Our dog wanted to prove that he can ruin anything if he puts his mind to it. He chewed the siding on the house. I saw this product and thought it was worth a try, so I was going to hire a handyman. The product is easy to use. I was able to repair it in one day because it dries fast and I was able to paint over it. It smells like peanut butter so be careful not to leave it somewhere that pets or kids can reach. I'm pretty proud of my repair. Probably saved a few hundred dollars. Product is ready for paint after being dried to a cream color.
👤Superb stuff for basic repairs. It's very easy to work with and it's easy to make something that's rock-hard. I used it to mold it into a shape that would fit into the undamaged wood surrounding it. There are two things with that said. 1. If at all, the stuff takes stain well. I saw that it was best to mix the stain with the wood while I was kneading it to get it ready for use. I wish I'd done that. The stain took forever to dry and I'm not sure if it will ever cure. I'm not sure if I want to seal it. It's a huge drawer, will rarely move, but I could see the stain coming off if you had to hold it tightly to pick it up or move it. 2. When it is hardened, it becomes hardened. It is very difficult to sand after it has hardened, so you should make sure it is in its final form before it is fully hardened. I did this, so I have no regrets. There are a couple of small waves that I thought could be smoothed out with sand, but this proved to be very difficult. I let it go because these are small issues. It is highly recommended with the cautions.
There are 8 x 3.5 g packs of Sugru in Black and White. The gorilla all purpose stick is strong and versatile. The strength is 1550 PSI.
👤I like that this thing stuck to anything I put on, but I don't like it. Make sure that you have the shape in mind so that you can stick it to your surface. I had to use my hands to mold it to my surface because it was getting hard in my hands. He wanted to take his time and make it look good. It was my fault that the bruh took longer to set. I think this thing said fast drying. I only used half the tube and the other half to fix what I was working with. If you think this is done in 30 minutes, you are mistaken. It will be done in 2 minutes. The thing dries fast. This thing gets powdery on anything it touches, so make sure you have tissues by your side.
👤Stuff works! I can't get the dinosaur off my head.
👤It works well, but the smell is terrible, my dogs smell better than this stuff, so I took it off the 2 star rating.
👤I had a toilet seat that moved. The nylon bolts that held the seat on were much narrower than the seat mount holes. I filled the holes with the kneaded putty and waited about 4 hours to cure and set it up, the full cure time is 24 hours. I had no problem marking and drilling the correct hole size. I put the seat back in place. I am very happy with this product.
👤The handle of the mug broke in the suitcase as I was going home. I would have preferred to fly back to Hawaii and buy a new one. That is not very practical. Super glue was the first thing I tried. The porousness of the break points was filled in. It did not stick. I couldn't get any other glues to work because the porousness was smooth. I needed a solution that went over the breakpoints. This gorilla glue is compatible with the bill. I attached the broken handle pieces to the mug with the help of the putty. I did not get a smooth surface because it was my first time applying it. It works! The handle is pretty comfortable. I've been careful not to swing the full mug around. I support the bottom of the mug with my other hand to be safe. I don't know if I have to do that, but I'm careful. It is still holding!
👤It was easy to use, but didn't work. We have a small leak in the basement, so we decided to use this epoxy putty to keep it from getting out. The water was turned off, the surface of the pipe was cleaned, and the epoxy was molded around the small crack. You can see the water dripping again within 15 seconds after waiting one hour to turn the water back on. Not worth it!
👤I bought this product to fix a leak. The product is hard to mix, it's gray in color, and it's supposed to patch holes and leaks, but it's hard to mix, it's gray in color, and it's hard to apply. After 2 applications, leaking did not stop. There are better alternatives.

👤I used FiberFix before they were acquired by Weld. I was very impressed with FiberFix. I can't tell if they changed something in the formula, I was not as confident. It was more flexible when dry. You're paying for the convenience of a water-activated resin, no toxic fumes, but it's very overpriced.
👤I used it to fix a lawnmower handle. Replacing the handle set was at least half the cost of a new mower. I had to do something. I wrapped the product around the handle with metal straps and thought it was broken. It is messy and you have to work fast to get a firm bond. It worked perfectly in this case. I fixed the lawnmower for free and saved hundreds of dollars. I expect this repair to last a long time.
👤Something is happening on a J&B. I've purchased a J&B product three times and it hasn't worked. The fiber tape was not tacky directly out from the package, but it did not set or cure after the water step. It was difficult to get the first layer nice and tight after I wrapped the handle. It's like throwing $10 bill in the trash.
👤I needed it with my broken chainsaw handle. The product can be used for broken items. Strong in minutes. This is a very strong wrap.
👤My tree was 14 feet tall and broke at the top of the pole. This product was tried as a last resort. The repair was done in minutes. The repair was challenged the next day by using the pruner/trimmer. I was happy to see that the fix was solid. The tool felt strong and secure. I hope the repair is effective.
👤This stuff is easy to use. It doesn't go far. I used it to join the dip net with a paint pole. I used two packs of Fiberweld and a third wouldn't have hurt anyone, because the handles are about an inch in diameter.
👤I decided to try it because it has FiberFix technology. FiberFix was a good product and I have used it before. It is hard to find. FiberFix got hard as steel and there was a lot more in the package. I can bend the JB weld, which means it is not as hard as steel, because it is not as good. It is decent but not great.
👤A metal light fixture has been broken. Couldn't buy a new one so had to repair it. The Fiber Weld worked well. It was a bit messy to work with. The casting material was left on but not removed. Since it is the same color as the weld material, it doesn't really matter to me. I am happy that my light is repaired.
