👤Very disappointed and upset. I heard great things about this product. I was hesitant because it is more expensive than other brands I have used. This product was highly praised by every person who used it. The package info was great but it ended there. The harder can out yellow. The tent is really yellow. Something was wrong and I should have known about it. I kept going. The proper ratio was mixed because it was a 2:1 ratio. The yellow tent was still there at some point. I was using blue mica powder. It was like a science experiment when I added the mica powder. The epoxy started smoking and bubbling. Maybe I got a bad one. I can't use this.

👤I have been pouring a variety of brands for a couple of years. I wanted to try this product out after hearing it was being used by some talented makers. The cure I got was terrible. Venting and a mask are necessary when curing that smell. Not as good for use in molds. I am not sure what it would be suitable for. The end product was discolored yellow and had micro bubbles in it. Absolutely terrible.

👤I have poured it 5 times. I live in California and watch it. The first two pours went great, but they were single color straight pours. The last 3... I work with small amounts at a time. Within 10 minutes my extra was smoking, bubbling, burning and thickening, after I mixed it. I had time to move it off my workspace and onto the cement. I split it up into 7 small amounts and had an extra 10 minutes to spare before it started to set. I can only imagine doing a large project like it is designed for and having it all flash cure so much wasted money. Very upset. I made enough for my projects to get half of them out.

👤I had to repair a hole in my wheelchair ramp. The box support system used by the architect/builder makes it impossible to cut out a portion and replace it. The ramp has been sealed and maintained for 20 years. The front wheel is in a hard L-R turn with a velocity change. The area that I repaired is about the same size. 932 It's 17 x 58 inches deep. The layers are shown. The repair areas were first wetted. Net step is to make sure everything holds up over the next few winters.

👤This was used to seal up a piece of reclaimed red oak that was to be used as a wall cap. Fast and slow dry. If you are new to filling in wood, I would recommend slow dry. There is a lot of patience. You are wrong if you think you need a quart. You will need 1.5. Do you think you need a gallon? No. You will need more. It is amazing how much can be soaked into wood. The fast dry was gross. Likes fish. I am not sure if that was a coincidence or if it was a different scent. It is fine once mixed and dried. There is a small complaint. The straws for the pumps should have been premeasured. The two quarts I needed cost almost half the price of the reclaimed wood. Frustrating. The pumps are designed to give a 2:1 ratio and it works great. It is fool proof.

2. PC Products 70147 PC Clear Adhesive

PC Products 70147 PC Clear Adhesive

The self-piercing tube is mess-free. Liquid bonds wood, metal, glass, ceramic, concrete, and fabric. When mixed it becomes opaque, then clear to cure to blend in. The service temperature can range from -20 to +200 degrees F. Cure time is 1 hour, and full cure time is 24 hours. It forms a tough bond.

Brand: Pc Products

👤I've been using PC Clear for a long time and it's the same product I make. Amazon says I have purchased over 20 of the 50ml cartridges. Until recently, never had an issue. I watched as the last 5 of this got so hot they destroyed my parts. The joint got so hot that I couldn't touch it during cure. One of them smoked a little. I've been using consumer and industrial epoxies for over 20 years. Over the years, I went to 4 seminars on adhesives by 3M and other reps. I know how to do this. Something recently changed with their formula or I just got 5 bad batches. The same person applied the same environment for room temperature and humidity. I watched in horror as it destroyed 7 sets of parts I was bonding to. A part cost of $38 and an hour labor prep each. I lost about $500 with labor and the 2 weeks delay for the purchased parts. Customers will be upset because these go into a product I sell. 3M is twice as expensive, but their consistency can't be beat. It would have been cheaper in the long run.

👤It's not a glue like thing where you hold pieces together and walk away. You will have to cure the glue for a while to get that strongest bond. Prepare so that you can either glue the pieces together or set them in such a way that they won't be disturbed for a couple hours. After our last move, we used it to glue a couple of broken porcelain statues back together. I let the mixture sit for 90 seconds. Afterwords glue the pieces together using a toothpick and set the statues so that they could cure without me having to hold the pieces together. It worked well. Can't see the site on 2 of the statues, and only see a crack on the other. The way the cap is designed makes it possible for you to reuse the glue. The Mrs. and I broke one of the bed headboard's while getting crazy the other night. This glue is back on good as new after being mixed up.

👤We had a broken toilet tank cover and the only option was to repair it. The result was ugly and didn't hold. I researched repairing porcelain and found it to be a good idea. I had a hard time figuring out how much I needed, so I ordered two one-ounce packages. I only used a quarter of the tank cover because it was in three pieces and needed a lot of repair. I found it easy to work with and it dried clear. You can still see the glue marks from the cracks. The image of a glass is not accurate. You can't glue a glass together to make it look new. It did the trick for my project and it came out better than I anticipated, so I'm happy with it and will use it again.

Brampton Marine Strong Bonding Repair

You can do it yourself with J-B Weld. They can repair and restore it right away. J-B Weld is the world's strongest bond. Can be plumbed under water. 👤The product shows plastic and PVC. I put it in the water on the plastic surface. I cleaned off the dust after lightly sanding the surface. I put water in a plastic tub after curing it for 24 hours. Within 30 minutes, the epoxy got soft. Had to replace all the remaining epoxy with another. It didn't work for my application, but it might work on a different plastic material.

👤If you want to squeeze out single drops, you'll have to drill out the pin-sized holes in the caps, otherwise you'll get sore wrist muscles. This is only useful in an application that does not require flow-out or absorption. I wouldn't saturate fiberglass cloth with it, which is one of the main uses of a product I would normally associate with "marine epoxy", because it won't soak into wood. I don't think the product description is accurate. It is brittle when cured. I usually come back the next day with a block plane to remove the high spots from the wood surface after I fill the cracks in the flat wood surface. Most epoxies have some elasticity to them, and they peel off in thin shavings. This is more brittle and comes off like a fine powder. It's not what I'm looking for when I need "marine", but if you're doing these properties, it may work to your advantage.

👤I got this because it said it was flexible. I used it to repair an old Been Pearson recurve bow that was broken off and wouldn't hold a bow string. It worked great when I used it to change the post. I have sent a few bolts to a target, and it seems to be holding up. I read the reviews and picked it. The fiberglass holds great because of the hardens and holds to fiberglass great. I don't know if it is flexible or not, as it seems very rigid, and I don't see any where it is not bonding. It is holding what I want.

👤I bought this marine epoxy to fix the toilet bowl tank. It worked out well. The toilet is no longer leaking. It was easy to mix. You have about 5 minutes to apply the surface. You can feel the mix getting warm and then it becomes solid. I left the toilet empty for a few hours before refilling it. There are two bottles that can cover a lot.

👤I used this to fix the kitchen faucet sprayer attachment. The sprayer's face was no longer attached to the body. I dried the pieces and parts overnight, secured them with rubber bands and let them sit for the night. The product failed miserably the day after I did the dishes. It's not water resistant, it's water sulfate. Don't buy.

👤The thicker the epoxies, the more they are like West System. It seems to work well as a glue, but I think it's too thick for fiberglass laminating. The product description should state that it's not for laminating, which is a common use of marine epoxies.

All you have to do is mix one full pump of hardener to every single full pump of the easy-to-use pumps.

Brand: Totalboat

👤I ordered 2 of the kits. I could explode right now. When you order, it gives you the option of either Qt,Gal or(4)Gal. If you get a quart of fast drying hardener, you'll get a gallon of the stuff. False advertising! I took the pictures as soon as I got them. The hardener bottle is 6oz and the resin is 30oz, I don't know about you. I'm pretty sure that when I was in school, 32 ounces was a full quart. The hardener was supposed to be a quart, but it was actually a gallon. The hardener bottles are only 100 liters and on top of that, you have to order two kits of this stuff. In each bottle. The amount I was given was too little for this product. I will not order from this company again.

👤One of my go tos is west epoxy, which is one of the different types of epoxys I have been using for several years. It seems like this is a knock off and I was hoping this was the same chemical. There is no EVE CLOSE. I used measuring cups because I figured the pumps were messed up. The same problem. I lost a lot of money buying this and other products that I sell because of this terrible epoxy. This is trash and I recommend you stick to West. I threw away some containers. I have used over 10 different brands and over 1000 pots for my projects. I have had similar problems with other brands and modified the mixes to fix them. The brand never worked. TRASH.

👤The order I received was not what I was expecting. The package looks like a gallon of resin, but it is 888-282-0465, which is much smaller than a gallon. I thought it was a great deal, but it was not. If it is going to be less than a gallon, make sure to note that and don't use a container that looks like a gallon. I need this for a big job, and now I have to wait for another order, but will not be with the same vendor unless they correct the misleading advertisement. Thank you, Nick.

👤I don't like resins very much. It's hard to find one that works with carbon fiber cloth and kevlar cloth, which is what I'm looking for in a project. I found that it wets up well on thick kevlar edge reinforcement cloth wrap. I will have to do a more extensive review later on. I'll be using 450g, 300g cross 45 flat weave and 220g finish carbon fiber. I will stay with this material. All my test pieces are working. I've found that a thin coat of the epoxy is enough to seal the surface of sheet polystyrene, such as the Adams poster board. I expose the plastic after removing the paper coating. I leave alone as it will help bond any laminating over this surface, as the only light amount of surface etching that I use is to harden the resin. There is a little information there.

5. 0 85 Fluid Adhesives Viscosity Epoxies Multi Purpose

Brand: Yanyi

👤It works as described and is dishwasher safe. I've used it to fix the legs on a few ceramic coffee mugs and on the dash of my car. After several times in the dishwasher and in the sun, it has not shown any signs of discoloration. A good purchase.

👤Excellent small-batch epoxy for my use. I use it for micro-application. It is almost invisible. It flows through a needle. It holds fast and sets hard. I let it cure for 5 minutes and then 15 minutes of pot-life.

👤I put 2 inch wheels with metal platforms on top of the heavy piece of granite. I wanted a platform to sit my Ninja Foodi on. The granite and Foodi are heavy and so far the epoxy is doing its job. The wheels are not moving.

👤This was used to attach a doorbell cover. She's on the wall after holding the cover for 3 minutes.

👤I have used this before and it has never let me down.

👤I bought this product to use in Kintsugi. This is the first time I've used this product and the first time I've used Kintsugi techniques to repair a broken Japanese style orniment. I was happy with the result. It goes off quickly. You have to move fast, but it did its job. It was difficult to open the glue as I only have one hand at the moment, and I am currently recovering from a stroke. When I read some of the negative comments about this, I was skeptical, but I found the best way to push down against the cap was to slant the tube to a 45 degree angle. I would purchase this product again and recommend it to others based on my experience using it.

👤The package was well packaged and arrived on time. The product was very good. It was worth the price. It is recommended to friends and family.

👤Thus is brilliant. It was stuck solid.

👤I should have bought gorilla glue instead of buying it because it hasn't done the job I bought it for.

👤Several pieces were put back together.

6. Permanent Rapid Dry Corners Reattaches Rebuilds

Permanent Rapid Dry Corners Reattaches Rebuilds

There are three types of half-Gallon kits available. Each kit has two parts, Part A and Part B. Quick-SET EpiOXY: This 8 oz.size is usually enough for most repairs. A little goes a long way. A quick fix isn't the only thing that's more than a quick fix. Instant Install 29 creates a permanent, unbreakable bond unlike other stone, tile, and counter top repair fillers that only last a few years. Repairs will not need to be replaced once the surfaces are dry. It'sTILE: It can be done with instant install. 👤This was my first time using Instant Install 29 and it was used to repair two pieces of bull-nosed edging on a granite countertop island. I have a background in general building repair and maintenance, but have never worked with stone before. I did a lot of research before I settled on Instant Install 29. The product I wanted was convinced me by the instructional videos I watched. I ordered Instant Install 29 from Epox-Sci. Amazon Prime is used for Labs Mfr. Rep. The product was packaged well and arrived quickly. I planned the work project in advance using a written list. Prepare area by removing all non-project related items. Plastic garbage bags and newspaper should be laid out to protect the surfaces from the anticipated drips. Before application, lay out your tools, including a plastic tray and wooden stick, to mix the epoxy, disposable gloves and razor blade scraper. Once the edge pieces are set in place, tear and pre-stage Painter's tape on the countertop to hold them. Put on gloves. Take product and mix it. You have a very generous 15 minute working window to apply the epoxy to your surface and fit the piece in place. The edges need to be trimmed. As needed, adjust the surfaces. 7) Pre-staged Painter's tape is used to hold pieces in place. For good measure, apply bar clamps. Do not tighten! Remove and dispose gloves. In my case, I waited an hour. 11) Remove the tape. Remove excess epoxy with a razor scraper. The video shows the entire repair process. The jar of Instant Install 29 has a fitted inner cover. Handling these covers will be very hard. Glove up before you open the jars. Prepare for the product odor. It's not the best smelling thing. It is important to resist the temptation to wipe or otherwise clean up Instant Install 29 until it has set. Follow the manufacturer's instructions to clean up. The razor blade clean-up is easy once the time has passed. If you attempt to clean up the product before it sets, you will have a sticky mess that is much more difficult to clean up. Do not put off your clean-up. The product will be harder to remove after 24 hours. There was a new date on February 2, 2019. This product has been used by me twice. The second repair is captured in the attached video. I didn't use Painter's tape during the second repair. YMMV I will use the tape again if I need it. If I ever need to do a granite repair, I will be ordering this again.

👤This product is the best. I got to work after my new marble countertop broke and I watched several videos on the internet. The product is easy to use and I used eggshell paint to match my marble. I used a razor blade to apply the product. It is sticky if you wear gloves. The product takes about 15 minutes to apply and will set in about an hour. There is a After it was hard, I took a piece of 120 grit sandpaper and started sanding down. It takes a while, but be patient as you cannot see the crack, but you can see it. You can't tell that my pictures are a crack because they look darker than in person. I applied a marble cleaner after I sanded away. Very pleased with the product!

7. XUDOAI Repair Plastic Ceramic Multi Purpose

XUDOAI Repair Plastic Ceramic Multi Purpose

Set in 5 minutes for emergency or permanent repairs. It is used to seal the leaking pipes after kneading evenly. A variety of materials can be bonded, including metal, wood, glass, ceramics, fiberglass, stone and many hard plastics. It's used for filling and repairing. It is easy to use, just cut, hand knead and apply to the damaged area. The time is mixing evenly. The curing time is 5 minutes to 24 hours. Completely hardened and fixed after 24 hours. The temperature of the product is between 50 C and 120 C, and the rest is kept in a cool place.

Brand: Xudoai

👤The product is garbage. Doesn't work at all! The package starts off hard. Instructions state that it needs to be in place before it starts to change color. You have to make the white and green parts of the same color. It is impossible to do this before hardening. It is like dried out Play-Doh. It is dried and crumbling in your hand before you can mix it. The product has the word "epoxy" in it's name. "epoxy" means sticky, glue or glue. The product has no trait. I would have been better off using my spit.

👤The green colored mixing component was very stiff and difficult to blend, so I had to return and place a reorder. The application window was closing when the two were uniformly mixed. If you have a task that takes more than 10 minutes, you may have to beat the clock.

👤This didn't work out. Is the pipe still leaking?

👤They couldn't come together because of the dry weather. Both of them couldn't use it.

👤No sirve para pintar de otro color. It is not suitable for painting in another color.

👤The product that fixed my curtain pole was a quality product. The sets are like concrete.

👤A hole in a floor tile and a missing bit of trim on a dishwasher were some of the repairs that it said on the tin.

👤This product was not what it was described to be.

👤I have used similar products before. It was easy to get some from Amazon. There is a I assumed the package's weight would be the same as the price elsewhere. It wasn't. The product was mixed up like play dough. Without cracking, it could not be spread thin. It could not be spread thin or smooth because it wouldn't get into cracks. It got harder. There is a You had to apply a big blob that was not water tight. You used more material than necessary and still needed to apply a water tight layer over top. I will use similar products again.

8. SunPowered Dura Resin Formula Polyester

SunPowered Dura Resin Formula Polyester

It can be fixed after two years if you use it. If you have any other questions, please contact them. The price is better than the competition. The cover sheet is for Super Tack Free Fast 3 Minute Cure.

Brand: Phix Doctor

👤Thissss stuff is great. I use it the same way the guy does. It works well. After I let it sit in the sun for 45 seconds, I take iT out of the sun and smooth out the edges of the original fiberglass so it's flat. I put it back in the sun to cure it. I have used a variety of items to wrap the bottle. All work well. The crease in a swallow tail is a good place to put the ceram wrap. You have to wave it before you put it in the sun. This stuff is great. I wish they made a bottle for hot coats. I wish it came with a catalyst for foggy days. I haven't tried the flashlight yet. Comes with a foam pad. You need 100-150 and 220 for sand paper, but it's only $5 on Amazon. Sand paper sheets are better for rails.

👤I liked this after my first repair. The first time I used it, it was on a flat section with a clear plastic top sheet. I rubbed the top sheet smooth. The top sheet is wrinkled when repairs are on a rail or not flat. Wrinkle areas never hardened when it was removed from the sun. You get 888-353-1299 I've been repairing boards for a long time. I like to cut my own cloth with regular 2 part surf fiberglass. It works well but you need to wait for at least 10 hours before sanding. I haven't used the Sun-Cure brand in years, so I might need to try it out. There is a If most of your repairs are on rails, please skip this product. This stuff only worked for 5 of the 10 repairs I did.

👤The kit has everything you need. I had an old tube of SunCure that was no longer effective in curing in the sun. I used this tube to repair the tail of a Surftech softtop. I used saran wrap to smooth it out after peeing back the foam top. I recommend using Saran wrap or some other clear plastic to cover it while curing to minimize sanding after the cure. The clear plastic sheets are not stretchy like saran wrap, so they are not good for dime size dings on the middle surface of your board.

👤Just using solarez is better. The top layer of this stuff never cures unless you cover it with plastic or cellophane. It won't cure in the presence of oxygen so you need to bring your cellophane with you to the beach or use solarez.

👤The large tube is made of 50% air and 50% resin. The product claims to cure in 1-2 minutes. It takes about 30 minutes. The product works well.

9. Epoxy Fiberglassing Building Reinforcing Stabilizing

Epoxy Fiberglassing Building Reinforcing Stabilizing

The cover sheet is for Super Tack Free Fast 3 Minute Cure. The marine grade is saltwater/freshwater resistant. Structural strength performance. Excellent Adhesion to Wood, Steel, aluminum, Soft metals, Concrete, Ceramic, Fiberglass, and Composites. Shrinkage and service temperature are both low.

Brand: The Epoxy Experts, Max Epoxy Resin System

👤I used this for my first boat project. Excellent stuff. It's easy to work with and the amber color is nice when dry. Depending on the temperature and sunlight, it can be dried to the touch within an hour. Within a few days, it was completely dry and hard. As a glue, it was thickened with silica and used as a filler and as a sealant.

👤Not as good as the first bacth.

10. Gorilla Epoxy Minute Ounce Syringe

Gorilla Epoxy Minute Ounce Syringe

It's used for iron and steel casting, sand holes and pores, and filling casting defects. It can be used to repair a lot of things. It's great for multiple surface applications. It's the best for repairs that need a durable bond, gap-filling and solvent resistance. It's ideal for clean, easy finishing. There is plenty of time for the perfect fit. A cap for multiple uses and separate barrels of hardener keep the epoxy from being hardened. A cap for multiple uses and separate barrels of hardener keep the epoxy from being hardened.

👤If at all possible, here are some ideas to follow in your project, having worked with different kinds of epoxy before. I wanted the result to be a "pour" so that the parts were encased in a solid substance. Ignore the little mixing area and get some small cups from the dollar store. Score the 2 parts you are binding if you can. What does that mean? Use a sharp nail file, hard sand paper, and deep cuts like "x" to scratch the two sides. This is a very important step for the bond to grip and should not be skipped. The air bubbles should float to the top when you leave the dispensers upright. I like to use hard clear plastic knives when stirring. You can estimate where to stop with a magic marker line. Plug and push down evenly on both sides to fill your small cup, then quickly pull the plunger back upward to dry the ends off. Don't bother if you are using the whole thing. Stir quickly to 15. The secret is to pour the contents in the second cup, and then stir another 15 seconds using a second clean ring. "Why bother?" is a question you may ask. This is a known technique and it gets rid of mixing problems and creates a rock hard result. I used the second stirring to apply. You could use the wooden stick provided. It's reasonable to pour the contents on to an object, but be aware that tiny bubbles do exist using this epoxy, it sets too fast for a perfect clear look. The final item to consider is temperature. If you want a 24 hour hard cure result, you should put your project somewhere warm that's between 75 and 85 degrees. A well known trick is to put an electric heating pad in a box under some rags. Place your project in a box and cover it up. The box was monitored using a kitchen temperature. If you follow all of the steps, you will get a rock hard plastic like result in the end, and I recommend this product!

👤I was devastated after tipping over my tobacco water pipe, but this epoxy has worked wonders. The ceramic/glass bond is very strong. Highly recommended.

👤Before using this product on an object of interest, newcomers need to practice mixing the epoxy and applying it to something to test the bond strength. The amount of time mixing is needed to reach consistency. The bond will be rubbery if not. The bond will be very strong when mixed properly, but will need a few extra days to cure and become even stronger. It is a good product with a good amount of volume. I used it to fix a pair of headphones.

👤I was looking for an alternative to soldering or torch welding in order to bind copper pipe for non-potable purposes and figured I would give this a try. I don't think this is safe on the pipe used for water. I've had positive experiences with Gorilla brand products in the past. The instructions state to mix the two together for 20 seconds and then use within 5 minutes as it will be the most effective prior to that. The plastic insert packaging can be used as a mixer palate. There is a black plastic tab that is supposed to be used to close the apparatus. The stuff was non-usable before the 5 minutes. I think that this figure is infeluenced by the environment. Since it's not a monsoon season in Arizona, the humidity is very low. Paint dries incredibly quickly. I had to work fast in order to beat the drying time. I didn't work on my project for a few days. I tried to pry it apart, but couldn't. Everything seems to be bonding permanently. It works on copper pipe tubing. It's messy and dries quickly in a hot climate.

👤I am using this to fix plastic panels in a car that have tab sockets missing or cracked. I have found that this plastic is good for shaping thicker missing pieces, but it's almost useless for strengthening an existing tab sockets, because my work was just too thin to use this material. I discovered that the existing tab sockets can be strengthened with epoxy, but it's terrible at replacing the missing material. I have a complete working panel if I use this plastic to form the missing parts and strengthen it and the cracked sockets. I needed both. I like how this material can be sanded and shaped. I am using Gorilla 2 Part Epoxy.

👤I worked the putty and it never hardened. When I contacted the company to see if they had any tips on why it didn't work, they suggested I purchase the product again and clean the surface. I cleaned the surface. Maybe it's good for soft plastic and not hard plastic, or maybe you need to work the putty for 20 minutes. I needed a plan of action to purchase and try again. Buying again seemed like throwing good money after bad.

👤I used this to fill equipment holes in my truck. It was used by the police in Texas and when they removed all the lights, radios, and cameras, it left over 20 holes. I cleaned and filled the holes with this putty after removing all the trim. I sanded them all and prepared them for painting. Some manufacturers have paint that matches the original interior colors of plastic and vinyl. You never knew where the holes were after painting. This is a great stuff that can be sands and painted. I will use this on my next vehicle.

👤My car's smart key broke. I was able to fix it and save $150.

👤This was a pretty good way to fix a plastic bumper. I had to do 3x rounds of applying sand and shape, but I finally got it to be a 7 out of 10. I had some air bubbles. Unlike Bondo, this is hard to form to the dent as you can't sand it after. You have to sand and sand and sand. If you want a permanent fix for a plastic bumper, this is your stuff.

👤My wife hit something solid with the front bumper of her car. The cut was six inches long. I tried to blend it in using regular glue and paint, but I couldn't seal the cut. I realized that the one piece of the solution I had been missing was the J-B Weld PlasticWeld when I saw it. I used white fiber duct tape to cover the backside of the bumper after I pushed it together as closely as I could. I made sure that the duct tape and undamaged edges of the cut were protected by putting the putty into the front of the cut. I probed the putty to see if it stuck to the tape and the bumper after it dried. It was a simple process of sanding it down and applying the proper paint to blend it in. It's done! You couldn't tell if the bumper had been damaged. If you hadn't tried this simple solution, this repair would have caused you to buy a new bumper. I tell myself that thousands of people have solved the same problem before me when I have a problem that I haven't attacked before. Is they smarter than me? Maybe a lot of them. I think about what needs to be done and come up with a plan. If we just think about how to do it, we can fix a lot of things. Chances are that you will learn something from making the effort, even if you don't succeed on the first attempt. Try again with your new knowledge. You will get it worked out after a few tries.
