👤This product won't work on a crack. You will never be able to blend it in with the excess epoxy.
A tube of black Queen contact glue. There are 5 x 3mm patches of rubber. It's perfect for people who want to stand out. To use, apply both edges of a rip to each other. You will be ready to go back in the water within 5 minutes.
👤It is important to know that the tube is thick. I thought maybe it had gone bad. I looked at some of the other reviews and they all said the same thing. It doesn't want to adhere to the material. You have to force it to stay on so you can put the parts together. My daughter's wet suit had torn at the collar in the seam. I didn't want to use a patch because it wouldn't have looked right. The left and right side of the zippers are shown in the picture. The tear was torn all the way to the opening on the left side. I don't know how it will hold up but I recommend it as it acts like the original neoprene when I stretch it.
👤The first time I tried this glue, it repaired many holes in my wetsuit. 6 months later, I tried to use it again, but the glue was no longer thin. It was thick blobs that didn't stick to anything. The whole tube was bad even though it was capped properly. I won't buy it again since it's no good after being opened, even though it was worth saving the first time.
👤I bought this to fix a torn seam. The tube exploded when it was punctured, and would not adhere to either the patch or the suit. I tried sandwiching the paste under the patch, but have not tested it yet.
👤I used my seat covers on a wetsuit. I wore a hole in the drivers seat cover after 6 years of wearing my seat covers. This was used to patch. It was easy and worked well, even one year later.
👤The product has patches. I was not happy.
👤This stuff works well. I put together the little tears and rip in my wet suits. I was able to glue together a long tear that was about 10 inches long and it seems to be holding. I used one of the round patches on my suit because of a hole in one of the elbows. The glue held up, but the patch deteriorated quickly. The glue is stronger than the patch so cover it.
👤I used this to cover the seat cover. The patch is crumbling apart.
👤The product description stated that it included patches for repairs. I received a small bag with three small tubes of the patches. My rating does not address how effective it is by itself because I have not tried it by itself.
To use, apply both edges of a rip to each other. You will be ready to go back in the water within 5 minutes. This starter kit contains enough glue and various tools to repair many large ceramic items. The curing time is 30 minutes at room temperature if the temperature is low. If you plan your time, you can use it for other purposes. The package size is about 20 cm wide. Their repair kit is a way to repair broken ceramic, glass, stone, woodwork, and you can also use it to make art. Preparing kintsugi repair kits as gifts for friends and family is perfect.
👤I was interested in Kintsugi, the art of repairing items with gold, and thought this kit would be fun to try. My adult son called me a couple of days after it arrived and asked if I knew where he could get gold powder, because he had broken a small ceramic pot that had sentimental value and he had seen videos on repairing it using this technique. Striking! I allowed him to use the kit with me watching, and then I tried the ingredients after. The kit comes with a 50 ML supply of glue, two bottles of gold-colored powder, two sizes of paintbrushes, a shallow dish for mixing, a few wooden stir sticks, and a card with instructions. The instructions were written in a language my son did not know, and they did not contain any information on how to clean up. He began mixing a small amount of the mixture and it was far more than we needed. There were safety warnings on the side of the tubes, but there were no instructions in the kit. There are two tubes, and the contents have to be mixed together to make a final product. This kit is only for adults. After the first use, you will need to supply your own gloves since this kit has enough for multiple uses. It's helpful to have rubber bands to hold the parts in place. The paintbrushes have to be cleaned or thrown away. We used alcohol to clean up the mess. You can use acetone to remove nail polish. After it hardened, the alcohol no longer worked to remove it. The mixture will cure in 24 hours, according to the instructions. The repair was stable enough that the pot held water after we left it out overnight. I would guess that the repaired item is not food safe because there was no information about it. We were both very happy with the results, and I look forward to using this kit again. The instructions recommend using it within 6 months.
👤The glue was not dried. The area is still tacky and soft a week later. I have a mess to clean up. Save money.
👤It was easy to use. I used it to fix a stained glass panel.
👤It was very difficult to complete the project because of the time it took to glue. The pieces had to be manually held in place.
👤One of my favorite Japanese bowls was broken by the cats. What better solution than this? Everything you need is in this kit. For a reasonable price. Despite my lack of experience, the result was lovely.
👤The kit has everything you need to start repairing Kintsugi. At least look alike. I wouldn't expect it to be at this price. Even the first time, it was easy to get beautiful results. Highly recommended.
👤It was easy to use. The kit took a while to set. The gloves included were not the best and you would need your own in the future. I was able to repair something that I thought was lost.

👤I use products that people give bad reviews to. Making it work. It had gone well until now. The original product is worth more than the extra few bux. Or a higher standard. I bought the same thing. Some years ago. It was a bit pricey. Not bad. I put the UV light to that brand and it cured up. This is the stuff dentists used to glue caps on teeth. It's supposed to cure very quickly. It was an important ingredient, and they may have skipped it. Nothing I've used it on has cured. It's still tacky. It's terrible. I will never get this brand again. That's correct.
👤Have used other brands of UV glue. They cured and dried in 10 seconds. This still feels tacky even after a few minutes in some spots. The directions do not give any guidance on how long to use the light.
👤This stuff is great. It is crystal clear and holds a lot of glue. It cures instantly and has infanite placement time. The high price is the only draw back. You place and position your part after putting a drop where you need it. It cures in about 5 seconds when you zap it with the included light. It's wonderful stuff. It flows like pancake syrup. For certain applications, it is great. It is clear so it is used in glue. It was originally designed for that. I like rigging model biplanes. It's super stuff. It only has a shelf life of a year so you should only buy small amounts if you are going to use a lot of it.
👤My wife was sitting on a pair of glasses. There was a metal frame with one of the arms broken free from the attachment next to the lens. She needed to have her glasses fixed so she could use her computer. The multi-layers that were built after the two pieces were re-attached were done well by the one end of the welder. I didn't fold up the glasses. I cut steel wire to strengthen the structure. I wrapped the joint in tape and did a metal bend to fit my wife. The same light stick is available from most of them. I bought a single unit since I don't expect to use it much, and it came quickly, as Amazon often does. The cure cycle was easier to set the glasses out in the sun. The blue light works well. The old electronic wire soldering jig helped me position the two parts well. I have been using the new glue for 50 years. I am happy that I was able to achieve what looked like an impossible task. The ability to multi-layer made the joint very strong.
👤Last night, I fixed my lens. UV light is used for about 4-5 minutes after applying a few glue and holding the lens together. I am wearing this lens for the entire day and so far everything is good. I give the packaging 4 stars because it has some leak when I receive it. After applying glue and soiling it with UV, the glue can keep my lens for a week. I have to glue it again every week. I use regular glue now.
The product is eligible for both theHSA and theFSA. Bondic is heat- resistant and waterproof when fully cured. After it is hardened, it can be sanded or painted. Non toxic. UV light is activated. When the liquid is exposed to the UV light, it cures in seconds to a permanent bond. BondIC is not a cure. The solvent free formula stays in liquid until it is hardened by UV light, which means there is no chance of it drying up in the container. Bond, build, fix and fill include plastic, wood, metal, PVC, steel, rubber, wiring, ceramic, figurines, vinyl, Kevlar, polypropylene, leather and so much more. The complete starter kit includes everything needed to start fixing: a hand held applicator, a tube of liquid glue, and a light. The complete starter kit includes everything needed to start fixing: a hand held applicator, a tube of liquid glue, and a light.
👤It failed on the first two repair attempts, and was not specifically for adhesion. I went back to the old fashioned way of doing things; messy and reliable. I would not recommend this product or anything like it.
👤The overall concept was good and the cool factor was there, but the actual use of this product failed to impress me. I used it to bond two pieces of plastic together. I used the UV light to apply the product. I waited for a day to use the item that Ibonded back together. It held for about 4 uses and then lost its bond. I tried again. The results are almost the same. It lasted for about 8 uses before it lost its bond. When I cleaned the tip off immediately after using the UV light, it was not held in place. It went back in without a hitch, but I don't think it should have come out. This product did not work or meet my expectations. If I had bought it at a dollar store, I wouldn't have been so disappointed, but I would not recommend it to my family or friends.
👤The product doesn't work as advertised. I've tried several different products and no luck. The bond isn't held. A good glue works better.
👤I was surprised at how quickly it works. I bought it to fix the cracked plastic bumper on my wife's car. They wanted $4000 to fix it. DoH! Before and after pictures will be uploaded. Some UV glues don't work with certain types of plastic. Bondic was supposed to do that. I found a use for the bondic for a stone that fell out of an earring. See the pictures. If you like using a 395 NM UV light, you can buy the Bondic refill. I tested it using a UV flashlight. UV lights can damage your eyes. I used the more powerful UV light for the bumper fix, so I bought goggles to protect myself.
👤The product does not work. The hot plate handle was lined up perfectly and was able to sit for half an hour. The bond fell off as soon as I picked it up. I bought 4 for stocking stuffers, but they were not worth the money.
👤Nothing was believed unless it was proven by application or mathamatically. I had a broken wind meter during the hail storm. The peddles broke. You can click on the pictures. I tried to save it with different types of epoxies. I saw an ad for a liquid plastic welder. I tried it and it held up. Yesterday I put the pole back up. The flag is torn apart and sitting 10 feet from the wind meter. This product works.
👤I've had this for a month, but have only used it once. I had an old earphone that was close to being broken because of the broken wire attachment point. I thought of this when I saw the electrical tape was messy. The BONDIC worked as advertised. The mend is small and clean, but one might not know it. It's holding up great. This is not the solution for every job, but for the jobs it does, there is nothing to compare. This is a great bonding tool to have in your bag of tricks.
The most versatile repair kit on the market. Remove loose fitting dentures. Repairs cracked, fractured, or broken dentures. Replacing missing or broken teeth. Instructions are included.
👤The kit had no instructions. The liquid and powder mixture was very hard to shake after we mixed it. We didn't get to use it. After paying $20, I went to walmart and got the same thing for $5. I was very disappointed at the wasted money.
👤A person who is interested in money. The teeth are grey. Don't eat after you get them on your dentures. I almost ate one. I wish I hadn't bought them. I want my money back. I should have listened to the bad reviews.
👤After reading and following the instructions several times, the beads wouldn't stick to the broken tooth or the dentures. I'm searching for an alternative method until I can get to the dentist and have it done correctly. Highly disappointed.
👤When a person loses a tooth and the dentist office price is through the roof, you want something that works for a while. These didn't last long.
👤I broke a tooth on my dentures. They would make me replace the whole thing if I brought them in. It was difficult to get the mixture just right, and it smelled bad, I was sure I would not like it. Not at all when it was set. It is holding. It looks natural. This saved me a lot of money because I would advise doing this in aventilated room or outside as it does stink.
👤I ended up swallowing the rubber tooth three hours later because it was not easy to use.
👤The taste is horrible and I had to take it out. I tried soaking my dentures in water overnight. If you could tolerate the taste, it would do the job.
👤I used my experience as an artist to make a very realistic match for my Mom's missing front tooth. The material is very workable despite being a little softer than expected. It is not as hard as her teeth. It's a grey tone and there's no way to change it. It has been in existence for 3 weeks and is holding up well.
👤Great product! I bought this set because my dentures were in pieces after the dog got hold of them. I have a couple of suggestions, however the instructions were clear. 1. It's easier to mix the powder and glue in an old spoon. 2. To apply the mixture, use a small screwdriver. 3. Put a piece of tape on one side and apply the glue to the other, then stick another piece of tape over the top. 4. Set file off any excess and fill any gaps. I built up the layers over the course of a few hours.
👤I bought this because I was worried about a large bill for having a crack in the middle of my dentures. After several failed attempts, I resigned myself to biting the bullet and called a dentist lab. They charged me $12.50 for the repair that I waited for and after 30 minutes I had my dentures back as good as new with no visible signs of the repair. This product is vastly over priced and useless.
Preparing kintsugi repair kits as gifts for friends and family is perfect. 100% Skin Safe as it is made without harmful ingredients. VITAMIN E protects the skin from damage caused by UV rays. It was made with water-based polymer to ensure strong hold against any oils and humidity. It is possible to have a natural look to your wig and hair. It's suitable for full lace wigs. There is a trial repair kit with 2 vitamins.
👤I almost put glue on my forehead. Don't ask. It took a few tries and a few videos on the internet for me to get it. It's not waterproof. Don't let anyone tell you different. It will lift if you sweat a lot. It's great for the weekend. If you are careful with not getting it wet, you will top three days. Make sure you put your wig cap over your edges. This stuff can ruin your hair.
👤I couldn't squeeze it out of the big bottle because it was so thick. The small tubes come out in clumps and do not spread very well. We smooshed it into something resembling a glue, but it didn't dry at all, as it stayed tacky and other hairs kept catching on it. The worst product ever. Money and hair are wasted.
👤The glue works. I don't know what I'm doing.
👤The product was not as good as expected.
It is easy and simple to use. The product is made in the united states. Bonds metal, masonry, brick, wood, glass, ceramic, rubber, fiberglass composite, china, stone, marble and many rigid plastics. Seal pipes, fix leaks in tanks and drains, repair appliances, tools, furniture, toys, automotive parts, pools and cracks in concrete. A hard, tough, permanent and waterproof bond can be created when putties are mixed. Loctite Repair Putty Multi-Purpose is resistant to most common solvent. It can cure under water. It can be painted.
👤Sit down, traveler. Let me tell you a story. Learning to drive in the suburbs didn't prepare me for narrow city streets. The passenger-side mirror was knocked off. I was not able to pay $450 again to fix it. I tried using super glue and it seemed like chunks were missing and the glue was not making enough contact. I found this putty. I was a little worried because people were saying it wasn't really a glue. If you look at the pictures, you'll see that there are lots of cracks and crevices where the putty can mold into. I was pretty sure I would be able to bond these two surfaces. It took a little bit longer to become hard because it was so cold. It took 20 minutes for the tape to hold it. I'm going to let it cure overnight and hopefully my drive tomorrow will be a good test. If I don't update this post within a day or two, everything will work out. I'm going to sand away the mess and match the black paint after I make sure it sticks. I gave it four stars because I think you really need to use gloves and follow the instructions. The rest of my skin is fine, but there is a small patch that formed while I was using the putty. Make sure to use gloves. For another time traveler, the window is different.
👤The shower tile had a chip and we had to replace it. We're glad we did, after seeing the results. It's not perfect, but you don't notice it unless you know where to look. We wiped it down, applied a small amount of epoxy, sanded it down, and then took the paint Home Depot mixed for us and applied. The results can be seen in the photos.
👤This is a sealed tube. There is a hardener on the inside of the plastic tube and a filler on the outside. When you cut a piece, you get equal amounts of hardner and filler that you mix together and make a uniform color. You put it into whatever you are filling. It is supposed to be hardened in 60 minutes. It is impossible to get the proportions wrong since you are cutting off appropriate amounts of hardner and filler when you cut off a piece. I am waiting for the shallow piece that I applied to harden. It is still soft enough that I can see a mark. It is never going to be easy to sand. Don't buy this if you want to fill plastic.
👤I love this stuff when you need thick glue or solid filler. Even in small amounts, it's easy to use. Have filled surfboard digs, mended toys, and patched screw holes. You name it. It didn't crack or shrink. Knead it, fill it, sand it flat.
👤I tried hot glue, super glue, and every other type of glue to fix a candelabra that broke, and then I tried this stuff on the hollow core of the candelabra to try and hold it together. It actually worked. This stuff leaves a "ghosting" haze on everything it touches. If you're working with gloves on, be sure not to touch anything else that you don't want to have the same haze on it. You should put the newspaper under the project you're working on. The bottom line... It holds its TIGHT!

👤Wow! I am familiar with both glues and Fab shops. I kept an eye out for the Ultra-Violet light cure that I didn't know existed, and I kept an eye out for it to show up on store shelves. I thought it had hit the Industrial adhesive market, but other things kept me focused on other things. This is a new discovery for me. This stuff is not a scam. It is a liquid plastic that can be hit with UV light and solidify, the same type of light that makes things glow in the dark. This process has been used by the auto industry for decades. It has been used with two UV lasers to make prototypes appear to rise out of the pool of stuff. Dentists have been using this plastic for a long time, which is why they sometimes shined a blue-violet light into your mouth. This is not a scam. It has been used in the industry for over a decade. If you use it correctly, it will work for you. It is not "Miracle Glue". Bondic's motto is "Don't use it like a glue, because it isn't one" because it is not a gum. If hit by a special type of light, it will solidify in seconds. The plastic has the ability to stick to a lot of surface types, so it can do the job of glue in many applications. Bondic has a website to help clarify how this stuff can be used and what surfaces you can use it with. Krazy Glue lasts on the shelf for a long time, but this glue lasts on the shelf for a short time. It doesn't bother the applicator, so you throw it away. Before you apply the light, it doesn't get sticky on your hands. Make sure you use a kleenex to wipe or clean the things before you use the light. One mistake that happens when using this is that you don't know how to let the UV light get to it when you cure it. It's not possible to put a piece of plastic on a rubber foot pad and then stick it on a box or something and light up the general area. The light can't reach between the pad and box to cure the resin that's put in between. If the footpad was CLEAR or TRANSLUSCENT, it would work, as the light you shined at the pad would illuminate the pad, and cure the plastic you applied. There is a little thought to go into this. Not much. I was curious if the stuff would glue a saw blade together. The plastic is tough, so don't try to use it in places where other plastic is available. The sawblade application takes nothing less than metal welding. The saw blades get hot and the plastic gets soft. If you aren't sure, check out the Bondic website. If you want to keep the bottle away from fluorescent lights or sunlight, be sure to keep it away from the UV light. The secret is to keep the stuff in total darkness when not using it, because every commercial light source puts out at least a little UV light. The process only takes a few seconds. You can shine the little light for about 10 minutes. It can take as little as 10 seconds to cure, but the directions say to use a full 30 seconds. The blue light Bondic provides does not harm your eyes or skin. It's not smart to point a light source directly into your eyes. You don't have to wear dark glasses. Bondic doesn't emphasize this, but it is not triggered by temperature. Putting it in a fridge doesn't help keep it good or bad. It should be put in a dark cabinet. The tip of the applicator can be very fine, which allows you to do some very precise fixes. The only negative thing I can think of is that they only give you about 4 grams of the product in a tube. For a lot of people, that's enough. If you want to get more of this product in the future, you should only buy refill tubes of the product from the store you buy it from. They gave you a cure light and you can keep using it. It's just a little light that produces light of a special wavelength, but the light assembly is easy to remove, and the small button battery cell can be bought and replaced, should you eventually need to do so. This stuff is TERRIFIC, and it is not gummy. If you use it correctly, it will do everything you need it to do.
The black roof tube ensures that the glue will stay in a liquid state. LOCA is sensitive to UV. All of their tubes are black because they are exposed to sunlight. The operating temperature was 50 to +170C.
👤This worked. My defroster is working again after I followed the directions. The defroster tab is still holding up after about a month. It would be great if it came in a few different packages so that it could be used for more than one application. It probably isn't feasible from a business standpoint. This is the product to get and it is short of soldering. Make sure you mix according to the directions.
👤This was bought for a broken rear defroster. This stuff doesn't adhere to anything. I mixed it as per the instructions. It's disgusting! There was a nice sanded surface. The defroster needs 30 minutes to be put in place. Nothing. It isn't sticking. There was no stickier at all. An hour later. Nothing. No stickier at all. Do you tape it in place or jam it? You show me how to tilt the window. This is a zero on the scale. After doing this task for 2 hours, I was able to wipe 100% of it off my hands with a paper towel. I bought this twice and thought I got a bad one, but no! Don't buy this garbage, use my loss as your gain. You would have better luck getting spit to fix it.
👤I applied this over the weekend and it seems to have worked. The Defroster is working again. It seems secure, but time will tell if it holds long-term. After a few months of kids slamming the lift gate door, I will update my review. The curing time/temperatures should be noted by others. It takes 24 hours to cure at room temperature according to the instructions. I think most people don't fix their defroster in the heat of summer. This means the product might not cure properly if it's too cold outside. I decided to use a lamp with a light source that was not harmful to the environment since the outside temp was only in the 40's. I was careful not to shock the glass or over-heat it. I spread the excess on a piece of wood and left it out in the cold, which was obvious that it wasn't fully cured after 48 hours. If you're going to use this product, be sure to give it enough time to cure.
👤I have tried to fix the broken tab on my car twice. The other fixes didn't last long. This stuff worked well. It applies quickly. I spread it on a piece of wood after attaching the tab. It's about 3 inches and it's good for being conductive. I will let you know how long it lasted. It has worked better than the other fixes so far. It feels pretty solid when attached.
👤The rear defroster connection broke off when a replacement rear glass support came loose, and I used this epoxy to fix it. I made sure to do the prep work to make sure there were no issues with this product. I made sure to bend the tabs back so they would sit flat and make good contact, I used rubbing alcohol to get off any sanding debris, and I cleaned all the contact surfaces down to bare metal. I gave it 24 hours to cure before I moved my car. It was difficult to keep it in line while using masking tape to hold it in place. I have had several good cold October nights and mornings to test out the connection, and it appears to be just as secure as before. If you don't clean the contacts well, position them just right, and give it plenty of time to cure, you could have issues. It should work for you if you do the prep work.
