👤Adhered fell off in the dryer. The product had no directions. Garbage!

👤They're thin and don't stay put.

👤All of my crafting and making skills are on the mechanical side of the house. I decided to plaster the ottoman slash scratching post with a full set of cute sets of the kind that kids have on their jean jackets, after I found it in my possession. If an idiot like me can do it, it's proof. I had my iron on medium high and I like to live dangerously. Rub back and forth a few times. He would be proud of it. I was doing this on a solid surface. One is supposed to reverse the surface and iron from the back of the fabric. It wasn't necessary for the iron on adhesive to fully adhere. The stuff is completely melted and adhesed. It should be from ironing from the top surface. I didn't read any directions or watch any instructional videos, but I did say out loud "well, if I were an iron-on patch, how would I work?" I would rate the product's ease of use an A+, the product itself five stars, and a thumbs up, after I turned the iron on. I used to be a college professor and I know how to grade.

👤I used iron on patches to cover up my child's backpack. Pottery Barn kids had a backpack and a lunch pail. The plastic on the inside of the lunchbox makes ironing on it very dangerous. I had my iron with no steam on the highest setting and only pressed down for a short time. I put a towel on the back of the embroidered part to make sure it didn't melt. The patches worked well so far.

Brand: Augshy

👤There were no instructions for application in these patches. If you follow a few tips, they will work. I read the instructions on the other listings. Make sure the garment is clean. 1. Iron needs to be hot. I set mine on cotton. 2. The patch is going to be placed in an area where it will be warm. 3. Turn over and iron the other side at the same time. Put a sheet of waxy paper between the different colored glue patches under the garment if the glue side of the patch is exposed. The glue does not stick to the shiny side of the paper. 4. Pressing down on the iron, iron both sides again. To iron both sides, pressing down and moving iron slowly is the key. I washed the garment in room temperature water and dried it in the dryer to make sure the patch held up.

👤I put knee patches on my baby's pajamas. He's wearing holes in them as soon as he puts them on. The only issue was getting my template cut, otherwise they worked great. After washing multiple times, still stuck.

👤Some of the patches did not have glue on the back or only partial glue. I contacted the seller but did not get a response. I usually glue the patch to the clothes and then stitch the patch at the edges to make sure it stays in the laundry. It's harder to patch them since I can't glue them on. They are very thick, which is good, but it makes it harder to stitch on by hand.

👤The Ottoman has some things. The stuffing isn't falling out despite the colorful patches on it. They are easy to use if you remove the wax paper attached. They iron on after I realized. The edges are unraveling. I could have hotglued the egdes. Maybe? I hope the patches hold up.

👤These patches have saved the day because I have three large dogs that can be hard on sheets. The colors are easy to use.

👤The patches are large and come in every color you need. I was expecting the size you can but almost everywhere, but these are twice that size. I have never seen so many colors. The price is great. Thank you.

👤Beautiful color range. It would be nice to have directions.

👤I like the variety of colors in this pack. They are of good quality. These colors are not for jeans, so it is good. I sew the perimeter whenever I do a patch because they adhere well with the iron. It's hard to find many colors that are the same price.

👤It's a great value for money, but it would have been better if there were instructions for use.

👤I bought these for the price and the variety of colors. They are easy to peel and place on the fabric you are adhering it to. I always stitch around the outside of the patch after ironing/adhering, because in time any patch that is stuck on will eventually come off without additional stitching. The job can be done quickly and easily. You can cut the patches to your liking. They are thick enough without being too heavy. It's perfect for everyday clothing that needs mending.

The hot-melt film on each patch is very durable, you don't have to sew it on or use further fabric glue. Do not use hair straighteners or other heating objects to apply patches, only use an iron. You can put patches on the outside of a garment. You can cut the patches with scissors or die-cut machine, the package includes several templates to help you decorate your clothes. You can apply patches from the inside of a garment, this way the shiny rear side of the patch shows through the hole. The glue will look like normal fabric after a couple of washes. Applied patches can be tumble dried on a high temperature setting. If the patch starts to peel off, re- iron it. Even after washing, one patch can be re-ironed at least 3 times. To prevent the felting from curling up, pay special attention to the corners, butt areas and seams when applying the patches. Money saver is to repair crotch areas. If it already has tears marks, use the patches to prevent future problems. It is possible to prolong the life of your new clothes by placing a patch inside of them. Not only pants and jackets can be fixed, but also sheets, car seats, even socks. The fabric you are going to repair has to be able to tolerate the highest temperature of an iron.

Brand: Zefffka

👤I've used Iron On Patches for years, but this was the first time I've seen it bleed through the iron. After placing the iron onto the warmed area, I held on to it for a short time. I used some paper between the iron and the patch to solve the issue. I used the whole package with the paper and will not buy it again.

👤It is definitely worth the money. The pack is made of 4 different colors and they are really strong. I saved 5 pairs of jeans. I hated the fact that my thighs kept getting wet. They will last longer now.

👤I had a hole in the inner thigh area of one of my favorite pairs of pants, but I couldn't throw them out. These patches worked well. They are holding well and the patch is not noticeable. So far, successful buy.

👤The product is easy to use. The inside of my jeans were patched by me. I need to tack the corners for added stability, then wear them and update the post to make sure the patch is holding up. Zeffka contacted me immediately after I ordered them to give me tips on how to use the patch. It was very helpful and came quickly. I needed to fix my jeans. The patches and jeans have been washed multiple times and are soft and comfortable. Good product.

👤My children's jeans have these patches on them. Some went on actual holes and others used preventative measures. The colors matched well. I put stitches in the corners to see if they worked. There is no difference between the sewed patches and the ones without. They have been washed and worn a few times, and the patches are holding up well, but a couple are starting to show wear around the patches instead of through them. The only advice I can give is to hit the corners and edges with the iron. They fit across the wide part of the iron. I missed the edge of one of the patches I applied and had to heat them again. I kept the iron on for 20 seconds because they warned me not to over-heat the patches. I was a bit skeptical but so far it has been good. Those might have been overheated or didn't stick properly. These are a good way to extend the lives of kids jeans. I will be putting a set in all of my boys' jeans.

👤Purchase a set of patches to fix the tears on the back pockets of my jeans. I took them out of the bag and found that they weren't real denim material, but rather a thin patch of denim. The thin materials cheap bandannas are made of, just died to look like denim. I was willing to overlook this because the patch I picked looked similar to the jeans I was fixing. The application was straight forward, hot iron and pressure applied. There is more to it according to the directions, but that is the process. I washed my jeans the way I normally would after I thought it looked like it worked. The patch did not survive a single wash. The glue peel around all the edges when it wasn't safe to use in the dryer. I can peel the patch from the jeans without any effort. I have images that I want to put on Amazon's website, but they are not letting me put them there right now. I'm not sure if it's worth returning these, since shipping them back would cost more than they're worth, but they are useless for my needs. I get that for chasing a deal when I should have stayed with the more notable brands. I wouldn't recommend this product.

Brand: Willbond

👤I ordered this multi-pack because I had a lot of things in different colors that needed repairs, and I didn't want to go with any of the other options. One roll of khaki and one black nylon looked like it would be a great way to coordinate my patch jobs. I have to order black nylon from someone else because I received two rolls of khaki. If you don't care about the color, the material seems smooth and waterproof, but if you care about the color, this might not be the one to buy.

👤The colors are pictured. Nice material. Not heavy. A lot for money. It was very good to husband's torn jacket lining. Does not adhere to the adjacent wool part of the jacket. Will sew to wool later. If you have some finger nails, it is best to remove the backing. I am glad I bought it.

👤I had sewn around the perimeter with patched knees and pocket. There was a spot on knee, cuffs, and crotch. These jeans are my weekend jeans. I thought I'd try these nylon patches. So far, so good. Will update later.

👤I've never used a stickier tape. It was waterproof. It's worthwhile to save expensive items if you spend a lot. It's hard to get off the backing.

👤Good tape. Holds okay. It's hard to remove paper backing. It is possible to use for moding dog clothes.

👤The mice had eaten a tennis ball hole in my umbrella. I put a patch on the hole using this product. It worked well as a repair.

👤The glue was not very strong.

👤Adhre, pas besoin de fer repasser. Posé sur un tissu assez mou pour masquer. The pice is perfect.

👤I have never used an iron patch. It was used to fix the inner thigh of my jeans. It was easy to put on, and held up nicely. I was happy with the patches. My son was impressed with the repaired pair of shoes. Use iron to warm the area, then iron it, then let it cool completely before wearing.

👤I don't use iron-on patches a lot. I needed some to keep the hems of my jeans from curling up. Follow the directions and take your time. These went on great. I will have to see how many washes they last through. This was a good buy for the price and variety of colors. A bit of thread, a pin, and a needle was included. The dark-faded-blue jeans that I wore were a common color and neither of the blue shades were right for them. If you are going to apply these to the outside of denim, make sure you check the colors. Follow the directions. You have to use high heat in order for these to adhere. The most important thing is to keep a piece of paper between the iron and patch. I had to throw out the paper backing because I forgot to remove it. These are doing the work for me. Follow the directions to avoid ironing parts of your clothes together. If you are going to apply these to the outside of denim, make sure you check the colors.

👤I've never used a patch before, but it was easy to use and I was a beginner. It was fun putting it on. I might make shapes and patch my kids pants just to torment them because they were so affordable.

👤The glue is the best. I washed them four times and they were still stuck, I used them on a pair of jeans that were worn out in the seat. After the first wash, others would start peeling off. I'm happy with the patches.

👤Not impressed. Bluejeans were chewed up by my washer. If they don't adhere then it's wasted money. It's easy to iron on. I have used iron-on patches before. There are a number of denim colors. I put ironing board on the inside of the jeans. They wouldn't be full of patches. They seemed to adhere well, but first they had to wash. They are peeling off. They didn't get rubbed during the washing process because they are on the inside of the garment. There were patches on one pair of jeans. Only one was attached. The others are curling around the edges. I took pictures of 3 different patches on a pair of jeans. I made sure I applied enough heat and pressure to make them stick. I haven't looked at the other jeans I patched. Several places and holes were repaired due to my faulty washer. Don't buy a front load from the company.

👤I wear a pair of insulated overalls for hunting and working outside. A couple of weeks ago, I must have gotten them caught on something, because a small hold started to form and after washing got bigger. I have found that cotton garments with holes that get bigger over time are not being made anymore. I'm okay with a needle and thread, but I didn't want to go to a tailor shop for the sewing job because the hole was above the knee. I decided to try an iron on patch. The patches seem to stick perfectly after following the directions. The black patch was a bit lighter than the black overalls, which looked a bit hokey, so I got out my Sharpie permanent marker and just colored it black, and it's now nearly invisible. We will see how long it lasts. I hang dry these overalls rather than putting them in the tumble dryer.

👤Some dog beds were chewed on and the patches worked well to fix them. They stopped the flow of stuffing that the dogs pull out and scatter around the house when they chew an opening in a pillow. A small piece was used to patch a well-loved item. There have been no issues with patches sticking to fabrics. There is no black or brown patch.

👤I bought these because the material I was patching wouldn't tolerate the heat needed for iron on patches and came off the first time the material was washed.

👤The purpose of these was to repair a small hole on the leg of my son's black snowsuit. I wish they were a bit thicker, but I am very satisfied with what they have. Would recommend.

👤These were not as thick as the patches my Mom used to put on the knees of my jeans, but they worked for me.

👤I used it on a pocket in a nylon jacket and it worked well.

👤These aren't "water proof" in the least. Came off when it was wet.

👤The knees of my 5 year old snow pants were patched with these.

Brand: Quirky Factory

👤I would buy them again, but they're not what I was expecting. The reviews said they didn't iron on. I wanted the style patches to show the hole, not be patched on from the outside. 1. I washed them in hot water and tried to get the plastic off the back. I pulled as much as I could. 2. I cut a piece to cover the hole. 3. The jeans were flipped the wrong way and the hole was fixed. 4. I used regular denim colored patches to cover up the hole and patch. 5. I followed the directions on the other iron-on patches to heat the patch with an iron to make it stick to the jeans and plaid patch. It took less than 5 minutes to make. I keep their clothes for their brothers. When I first bought them, they looked cute and now I can patch them. I have enough pieces to repair another 6 pairs of jeans, and I have repaired 3 pairs of jeans. I like the patchwork look of these patches. I can't imagine them working well without the other patches on the other side.

👤The colors of the patches are cute. They stay on after washing them. I can iron them on again if they fall off, or use some stitches to keep them on.

👤I didn't want to throw the blouse away. The patches saved the blouse and I was hoping for it. I put the patches in different areas on the blouse and it's a completely new blouse. The patch design is cute and if you cut it up the right way, it looks really good. I would be aware of that because they fringe a bit at the end. The fringes weren't obvious when I put the patches on.

👤Absolutely terrible. Don't waste your money. Does not stick. What a mess.

👤A pair of jeans were patched with many holes. I get a lot of people who say they love the jeans and the patches. It's easy to put on with an ironing board.

👤All of these brands eventually will start peeling off, depending on where the tear is on the jacket and how iron heat settings are used. This happens after a while, it's not as flexible as the nylon on jacket, so eventually they will peel. After a few years, my jacket is almost one big patch. Every year I patch. It's not as bad as having the down spilling and floating out. This is a temporary fix, better than throwing out a jacket.

👤I used this to patch a hole in my jeans and my son's pants, and so far it has held up. I pre-heated the fabric on the jeans before ironing the other side to make sure I got good adhesion. The patches have survived the "Fabric Annihilator" washing machine that my wife and I bought last year.

👤It covers the holes that are caused by the rub between the inner thighs of the pants. I didn't feel any of the patches.

👤This purchase was terrible. I tried to patch several fabric types to make them fall apart during the first wear. After ironing each patch, I followed the directions and it looked good. I was very disappointed and embarrassed as one of the patches came undone while I was on a long walk with my dog in the city. I will never buy anything from this company again because they get what you pay for.

👤I bought this to prolong the life of my husband's work pants, which had holes in the knees from kneeling to work on machines. I didn't want to throw them out when the rest of the pants were in good shape. After a number of washings, there was no need to iron on.

It's ideal for clothing, trousers, bags, etc. It is suitable for reinforcement and decorative applications.

Brand: Selizo

👤I put a patch over the hole in my jeans. It wasn't that great. It took a few minutes before the corners started to peel up. I found the best way to use them was to iron them on and then sew them in place. It will take a while to sew them down, but the iron glue will last longer.

👤I need the black to repair another pair of black jeans that are broken, and these won't hide the fact that they are broken.

👤These patches are for my chub rub. They started peeling after ironing on my jeans. I've tried to make them better, but they're still not good. They peel again after wearing my re- ironed jeans.

👤I liked the idea of fixing my jeans with iron on patches. I reinforced the thigh area of my jeans because they were easy to iron on. I had not worn the jeans yet and they started peeling off. They came off when I wore them. It's not worth the time or money. Will look for another brand.

👤When I put this in my cart, I thought it was high quality denim, but it's a fake, and it's very thin. I was thinking about using this for a couple projects. I wouldn't recommend a high quality job for these patches. If you do a good iron job, the iron on the part sticks on. It's too sticky. This would be a perfect patch with higher quality denim.

👤I applied them according to the instructions. They were already peeling off after one wash. The jeans I was trying to repair will be getting trashed because the material goes stiff after washing. These are definitely not for the inside of jeans. The material rubs and causes irritation. I tried to use iron on glue stitch under it.

👤I say this because most patches have a particular way to use them, some say hold hot iron in place, others say heat the fabric first then put patch on then rotation in circular motion and make sure you hold on the edges longer, don't move the item for at least a half

👤The patches are made so that you can use them one day and have another 20 day supply before they need to be replaced. I've had other patches, they've been around for years, but never one day. Buy for cheap.

👤We used this patch to fix our car seat. The tear on the driver seat's edge makes getting in and out of the car more difficult. The product is working well and is easy to use. The brand we tried was terrible and came loose on the first day.

👤I used this to cover my Bible binding that was falling apart. It adds to the looks and character for my purposes. The glue is strong. The piece is larger than I expected but smaller than I thought, and it was the perfect size for my Bible. There is a If you want it to look like it is part of your product, it will not be provided because it is thick. I am glad I did not get book tape or Scotch tape for the book binding reinforcement. It is great to use when you don't have the time or money for a full recovery, it is good for a quick fix. It seems like it will last a while.

👤No directions were included. It's fine, but it would be nice if they made suggestions for the best way to patch it. I tried to patch the arm rest on the chair. I put a large piece on and the edges started to peel. I tried a small piece and it fell off. I stapled it with the factory staplers. The glue was starting to show around the edges. It's only being held by the staplers, the glue has worn off. This is after a few weeks. I definitely wouldn't purchase again because of Inexpensive Con, it looks cheap.

👤I was looking at a lot of different options to fix my office chair and found this one. It was like the perfect solution and a great value. It was perfect for my needs. I was able to cut it to the size I needed to fix the spots on my chair. The glue held up well so far. It blends right in. It was worth the price for the temporary fix even if it doesn't last forever. I would buy again.

👤I applied a patch to the interior door of my car. It's easy to put on and feels secure. Time will tell if it holds up. It doesn't fool anyone, but it is a firm option to keep leather tears from growing.

👤I have used this on a car seat and it has been great. It's very easy to apply, just cut to size, peel off backing, and stick. It has held up for a couple weeks more than the tape I tried to use, which was peeling off in a few days. It matches the seat well, but is not too bad.

👤This tape is described as thin, but it is actually quite thick compared to other leather patching tape. It's difficult to rest my arm on the computer desk chair because of the rough surface. Because of this, I got another brand recommended by Amazon for $9 and change, which is smooth to the touch and works well. I wouldn't recommend this brand of tape. It's too thick, too rough to the touch, and it's a small amount of tape. I wish both brands of tape had a better level of adhesion.
