It is easy to install and can be torn by hand. RV and mobile repair is done by a professional. The XFasten Butyl Tape can be used to replicate how pros seal their windows. RV, mobile home, boat, fiberglass or galvanized metal roofing, EDPM roof rubber repair, or any other type of roof repair will never be intimidated again. The finish is elastic, stony and water-tight. Installation without gaps can reliably shut off leaks. The surface can be painted over to make the workspace neat and heavy duty. It is possible to install on tight corners and unusual tapestries. It can be installed on tight corners and curves. It's easy to install a long shelter. The XFasten Butyl Tape has a long shelf life and resists melting into a slob during transportation or storage, unlike most putty tapes. It's comparable to severe surface scars. Can be applied on rubber roofing, galvanized metal, frosted fiberglass, wood, textile, plastic, aluminum and any other typical RV, home, automobile and boat surfaces. There is a sound daemon and a rat. Their Vacuum Bagging Tape is denser than typical butyl putty, which allows it to absorb sound, rattling and wire coiling on cars, campers, and even mechanical keyboards. It is recommended to chill the butyl tape in a fridge or freezer for 6 hours before use. It's easy to release a dishwashing liner. It can be difficult to deal with a Butyl Foam Tape that just doesn't stick to the liner or to your palms. The XFasten Home and RV Window Glazing Bead Tape can be easily released from the paper liner thanks to their patented anti-coagulation compound.
👤I have used butyl tape for 25 years. Butyl tape is the sweetheart of the RV industry, and I have a love hate relationship with it. If the RV companies can save a penny when building stuff, we know how cheap they are. I don't think the RV industry uses this stuff as a standard, but they should. The sticky stuff doesn't run when it gets hot, but I like how it is. I am in Arizona and I know it! I don't want to think about taking things off that I've used on, life sucks when you have to do that. I keep a small amount in my trailer for emergency repairs on the road.
👤This was used to seal the window on my camper door. It's very sticky. I received information from the company before my order came with instructions to put it in the refrigerator a couple hours before use. After being chilled, I was able to cut the tape in half with my titanium coated scissors and lay it on the frame. I'm not sure if the scissors coating made a difference in the tape not sticking to it. This stuff can fill gaps. When I tightened the screws and pulled the sealant out, I used a plastic picnic knife to score the excess and pull it away. When I was working on this project, the outdoor temperatures were in the 50's.
👤Butyl strips can be difficult to work with. They're stuck once they stick. You have to get it right the first time. The seller suggested that the roll be put in the fridge before stiffening it. It is best to apply this material out of the sun because it can get sticky fast. I did my repair in the shade in the early morning and it worked out well. The window frame was applied with the butyl and the white backer tape still on. You will have a mess on your hands if you take the tape off before applying it. A good product.
👤I bought butyl tape to try to fix a seam in a corner weld on my seawall which has gaps of between 1/6 and 1/3. My plan was to apply the butyl tape under the water and hoped that forcing the flexible tape into the "crevices" of the seems would help hold it in place. The air temperature was in the 70s and the water temperature was in the 60s on the day I did my attempt. I was trying to apply the butyl tape to the steel surface. Underwater surface makes for tougher adhesion in the first place, though with most butyl tapes, underwater adhesion is certainly doable. This is a Chinese product, so who knows what is in it, or if it is a 100% butyl product like the Anderson brand. The water temperature was on the lower side for good butyl tape adhesion, and the air temperature was on the cool side. I'll try to install the tape again, but I'll wait for the air and water temperatures to warm up. I will update this review with the information I find if the tape actually does adhere. The width and thickness of the tape was enough for me to seal a gap in a corner. It's nice to be able to double or triple this tape up if you need to seal a gap that varies. For those who are looking for confirmation that butyl tape can be applied underwater, so far I can't say that it is capable of doing it, but I can say that it cannot do it in all instances. I'll have an opportunity to try it again when the temperature gets better and I find that it works. There are a lot of good uses for a roll of butyl tape. The question that the seller replied to was concerning to me and caught my attention. I think this was just a Chinese seller trying to tell a potential customer what they want to hear and in reality, the Chinese seller doesn't have a clue what this stuff is or isn't.
Use on: roofs, skylights, flashing, chimney, PVC pipe joints, Windows, RVs, projects and more. RV Awning Tape can be waterproof and can be used in extreme outdoor conditions. Rip stop patch on RV awning, canopy, tent, tarp and greenhouse The patented Silicone-Butyl adhesive allows the tape to be re-positionable and installed cleanly without mess, making it easier for Americans with little to no experience in repair to fix tents and RVs quickly and still expect professional results. It's best for RV awning repair, fabric, boat sails, vinyl, tarpaulin, tents and campers because it's tough and flexible. You can squeeze more value and satisfaction out of your RV and camper by using repair tape. Crystal clear finish blends perfectly on all surfaces. Your tent, awning, and sail are saved from further damage by pneumatic resistance. The awning and tent repair tape is tough.
👤I read reviews to see if a product is worth the money. I don't mind paying more for a project that is good if it is for a repair. The instructions were followed. We went camping and the tape was flapping. It doesn't work. I paid for awning repair tape. I could have gone to the dollar store and bought something better. There are fake 5 star reviews. This must be one of them.
👤The tape was going to be returned because it looked like regular packaging tape. I thought I would try it first. It was sticky when I put it on. I put the first two pieces on my ripped canvas tent and had to re-position one because it was so sticky. It was a bit moist out, but stuck well. It was pretty strong after I pulled on it to connect the two pieces that ripped. I used almost the whole roll. It completely gave way after a weekend in the snow. Don't buy it as it won't stick.
👤A small area on our awning started to peel off as we traveled. The area had grown to about 8 inches by 1 foot when we arrived. I bought the tape on-line. The tape arrived on time. I applied it as instructed. I was given a separate email from the vendor to make sure I understood the instructions. The tape was easy to use. We drove over 600 miles. You can't see the repair. The tape is holding up in the hot weather. The vendor and tape are excellent.
👤We had a brand new awning torn out of the track during a storm. The gentlemen who offered to help accidentally caught it and tore it in several places. It's not bad but it needs repair. We found this tap and tried it out. It's clear and sticks well. We bought a spare roll because we liked it so much.
👤I have a pop-up gazebo cover that stays up year round, and I need this tape to fix a couple small rips. Doesn't look great, but is doing a good job. I bought it because I knew I would eventually need a new gazebo cover, but I am trying to get one more season out of this one. The roll was large enough to allow me to recover my rips again if they start losing their elasticity.
👤This tape appears to be heavy duty, but only time will tell if I am satisfied. It stuck well to my vinyl trailer cover, which was torn in half on the corner. The tape could be separated even if it stuck to itself. It will have to deal with snow and sub- freezing temperatures, as well as being exposed to the sun and rain.
👤The only use this tape was good for was to wrap presents. The tape is not sticky enough to fix the awning tear. It seems to stick to itself better than any other surface, and every time I tried to use it, it was useless. If you have a tear in your awning, use Gorilla tape. It holds up!
Delivery times in the USA, CA, EU, and Rest of World are typical. It's easy to fix holes with an ultra-strong, peel-and-stick repair tape that requires no heat or sewing, ideal for use in tents, tarps, jackets, vinyl furniture, and other synthetic materials. It is not recommended to apply Tenacious Tape to denim, cotton, or natural fabrics because of the aggressive adhesive that bonds nylon, mesh, vinyl, rubber and plastic permanently. This repair tape is waterproof and will not peel off over time, it is available in a 3”x20” strip. Use nylon fabric, ripstop fabric, and clear vinyl for a nearly invisible repair.
👤The "off-white" tape is about 20 x 3. It is not clear. The fabric tape is very strong. I used this tape to repair a small hole that our cat made on the wall of our new tent, the first time we set it up to inspect it. It did a good job, and looks good. The packaging for this product doesn't say "Ripstop nylon", which is puzzling to me. The front of the package has a discreet label that says "nylon", but it's not the same thing as "ripstop nylon". The product description on Amazon is very vague. There are three different types of tape being sold as "7 different colors", and it is not clear what type of tape each "color" actually is. The nylon tape was black, red, orange, and yellow. Ripstop nylon tape is green and off-white.
👤I have used several rolls of Gear Aid Tenacious Tape to repair a variety of things, including dog toys, winter coats, snow pants, and an umbrella. I wish I knew that this tape is not the same as the others. The fabric and flexible tape allowed it to move with the repaired items. The clear tape is shiny andrinkly and looks like a swatch of Scotch tape. I used it for an accidental dog rip on a jean jacket, but it's not something I would choose again. It makes plastic noises when you move. I'll either use an ugly piece of the black gear tape or sew on an unwieldy denim patch when it falls off. The rip is in an awkward spot between the seams, so it is not a good candidate for an iron-on patch. I was going to use it on a small mattress tear, but I can't imagine hearing that loud every night.
👤My dog ripped some holes in my sleeping bag. I was looking for reviews on how to repair it. I wasn't sure what to buy. I got the clear and the green. Glad I did. I needed 2 rolls to fix the holes. There are only 20 inches in each roll. I had a way to compare. If you want to repair nylon sleeping bags/jackets, you should get the colored fabric tape even if it's not a great color match. The clear looks worse in the end. I ordered another roll of the green but the clear will do. This stuff is very serious. Sticks are amazingly well. The FABRIC tape is amazing. When you slide your hand over it, it's barely noticeable. It's worth it even though I wish the rolls were bigger. The clear is hard to use on a sleeping bag. It feels very heavy and plastic. It could be good for something plastic. It's worth using fabric tapes even if you don't have a good color match.
👤My new jacket was saved by this tape. This tape is awesome, so don't hesitate to purchase it. I got a brand new Marmot jacket a week after I bought it. I was able to get two cuts on the elbow of the jacket. I had feathers flying out of the hole when I moved my arm. I swore to myself that I would never buy another jacket with such thin material after I ruined my jacket after a week of use. The picture doesn't do it justice, the tape makes my jacket look brand new again, after doing research, I purchased this product. I am confident that it will stay on my jacket. The clear is easy to apply, barely noticeable, and stands out because of the glare. I will use it on all my gear. I would have fixed my backpacking tent if I had known about it sooner. The best solution available. Very happy!
Marine-Tex can be ground, tapped, and drilled, and finished with most common paints and coating. A mess-free and air-tight seal is provided by the Rubber Putty Tape. Does not degrade in the long run. The wide operating temperature of the RV Tape makes it easy to apply even on tight corners and curves. The Butyl Tape is a tough yet mess free tape that can be used to recreate PROFESSIONALLY-MADE repairs. RV, mobile home, boat, fiberglass, galvanized metal roofing and EDPM roof rubber repair are not intimidating. The finish of the water. The leak seal tape can shut off a lot of leaks. The surface can be painted over. Long life in a shelter. Butyl Seal Tape can melt into a slob during transportation or storage.
👤This stuff is sticky and not flexible enough to be effective. If you are replacing window glass in a new house that is brand new and the surface is not completely even, then this stuff is not for you.
👤I had to gut and repair the front end of my camper after I found some rusted screws and water damaged boards. I needed to reseal the corners and trim. It was easy to use, packaged well, and has held up for over three months now. Great purchase. Exactly what I was looking for.
👤Butyl rubber has been used for a long time to seal things. It needs to be contained by a device. Under compression, it will never hardened. If a piece is held up, it will lose its weight. It's ideal under boat fittings, screw heads, hatches and the like. It doesn't 'cure' like poly urethane and Silicon. It remains flexible and can be removed.
👤I used butyl tape to replace my roof vent on my travel trailer. It worked well. The backing was easy to carry and in a single piece. I used two strips of tape on the bottom of the flange. It worked perfectly. Doctor LAP sealant was used over the edge of the screws. I'm not sure of the reviews on this. My product did well.
👤If you're an RV tech, you've already tried a lot of different brands. This is high quality. It will probably get there without any problems because it is well packaged. It has a quality backing paper which won't easily tear and the tape seems to hold its form better than Dicor sells! This is a stock item for me.
👤This stuff works well. They told me to put it in the freezer until I was ready to use it. It's not so stretchy when you place it on your project. Great tip!
👤I used this product to replace a coroplast-to-coroplast seal in the underside of a travel trailer after breaking it to gain access to the tow cord electrical connections. This product is not the same as the RV manufacturer's product.
👤The deck hardware on my sailboat was taken off. PO tried to stop two smallish leaks by using both Silicone caulk and 3M 4200. I only use butyl tape on the boat. If done right it never leaks.
👤I use butyl tape for waterproofing and sealing the metal to asphalt shingle mating surfaces when mounting brackets or j-arm mounts are attached to a roof surface. I use it to seal cable entrance holes in buildings. It's too soft and sticky to handle on a hot day in June and July, so not sure how it performs in the colder months. I have to hang a piece of stiff wire in the back of the truck to keep the roll from falling down. It seals well and has good adhesion to wood and other materials. It would perform well if one were to use it to seal seams between long straight joints. I can't comment on how it'll fare in weathering, sun exposure, etc., at this time, but I can say that time will tell if it lasts or not. The roll could be kept flat between two pieces of paper, and it will be easier to handle when it's cold. It's not a bad product, but for me to give it a five star rating, it has to be perfect and almost impossible to make better. This stuff is three stars on a good day and one star on a bad day.
The country of origin is the United States. The XFasten Fabric Book Repair Tape is a great way to repair your book. Your old book can be restored to its pre-injury condition with the tough linen backing that exceeds the strength of many book covers. This black cloth bookbinding repair tape is equipped with a mess-free glue that doesn't degrade, dry or ooze out on extreme humidity and temperature, empowering it to endure any beating! The linen hinging tape is the toughest fabric repair tape to date because it is laboratory-rated to endure stress for over 9000 page turn actions without tearing. The smooth surface of the library book binder tape makes it comparable to pristine book binders. It's ideal for old books, library materials, bibles, leather covers and paperback books that have aged. It was designed to care. This repair tape is acid-free and will not damage sensitive book materials. Dark spot formation and harms caused by bad handling are Resists.
👤Useful for both books and general repair where good flexibility is required. I fixed the guitar case. Cut and trim with Xacto or similar blade, it will fall apart at rough ends. It's used with general purpose craft glue to get good results. A roll will last a long time. Other colors are desirable.
👤This was listed as bookbinding tape. It is just gout. It sticks well to paper, but doesn't stick to wood or paper material under any type of stress. It doesn't stay stuck to paper. I would never use this stuff for bookbinding because it would fail on the cover of the book.
👤The tape doesn't stick to books. It starts coming off over time.
👤The first 1 meter was okay, but the rest is useless and not worth the price.
👤I have used this tape for many books. The glossy board binding and the tape sticks to cloth. It's easy to tear to the size you want. I have not had any issues after a month of use, the only issue I have is the book coming off of a book in areas that I used only small pieces or around ledges without much wrap around. I am very satisfied with this product and will likely order again in the future. A book binder hobbyist.
👤The book was not moved the next day. I put more tape on and it came off. I didn't touch the book. I used duct tape because it did the job.
👤The tape feels like cloth. The glue is not very strong. It will come off easily. It needs a second bond to stay put.
👤It doesn't stick so it's a waste of money.
👤This is the best book binding tape I've ever used. We used it to fix the menu cover that looked terrible. The tape is very strong and takes on the texture of the menu covers. The inside of the tape is black, so the cut edges don't show up white or gray, which is the best part. I now have this tape in stock at the restaurant to fix rather than replace each menu. What a find!
👤I bought this tape to bind my books. The tape began to peel after I put it on. I don't recommend this product at all.
👤I like the idea of bookbinding tape but it has a weakness. I have to put glue or double-sided tape on the book cover. I would like to return it. I'm out of time.
👤This was used for paper repairs. did not adhere well.
👤The tape works well. I secured the spine of 4 books with it.
You can cut the repair tape as you please. If your clothes get scratched, damaged or burned, this repair patch can fix them quickly. Your equipment can be used again. The nylon tape needs to be heated by an iron or a hair dryer to be waterproof. It usually takes ten seconds. It will be difficult to peel off after cooling. The items can be washed in the machine. It can be used for repairing impulse clothes, tents, down clothes, jackets and other fabrics. The nylon tape is not suitable for stuffed toys. If you have a question, please do not hesitate to contact them. They will give you a solution. 100% customer satisfaction is guaranteed.
👤The ad makes you think it's on a roll. It doesn't. The strip is folded over. The edges are not straight. I needed to repair a jacket with a nylon shell. I used the lowest heat setting on the iron to iron the piece I cut to fit the rip. So far, so good. It is holding up.
👤Finally tried this tape. There is no instructions apart from what's on the product listing. A hair dryer isn't enough to apply it. If applying directly to the surface, use a heat gun or iron. Round the corners to prevent peeling. It is easy to peel off, however it is difficult to distinguish what it is being sold as. I used a seam grip to be sure.
👤There are no instructions. Here's what I did, based on what I've done before, and the reviews: Cut the patch a little bigger than the hole and round the edges. I only used iron to heat the fabric since it was nylon. Line up a patch over the hole. For a few minutes, iron at the hottest setting. The glue on the edges might have been a little long. We'll see how it holds up after fixing the holes. It would be great if it were used inside of a project. It went on the outside because I am a jacket. The description says that it doesn't work on stuffed items, but I just smooshed the batting away from where I was ironing and put it back when done. If I pick at the patch, it will come off. He'll grow out of it by next winter, because the spring is right around the corner.
👤See the update at the end. I wear patches on my jeans while I work on the house and yard and they are 888-282-0465, which is 888-282-0465, which is 888-282-0465. I'm used to patches being thick. I use these pants for everything. We will give it a try. Update. They came off due to inferior glue. The glue may have a lower melt temp than the iron on patches. Glue could be partially water soluable.
👤I used the tape to repair the blankets on my horse. I will use it again next year.
👤It worked well to repair a rip in my husband's jacket. You can use a piece of cotton fabric between the iron and the patch. A hot iron can damage fabric.
👤I have a thin nylon fabric with a hole that I tried three times to get to stay as directed by heating it and holding it. Nothing.
👤There is a short roll stuffed in a bag. Does not adhere after using a heat gun.
👤I used the tape to fix the holes in the furniture. I used the silk setting on my iron so I didn't burn the covers or use paper towel over them, but I did repair some spots. I would suggest just holding the iron down and pressing it. If you iron it aggressively, the edges can turn up. It was easy to do. I am happy with the repair.
The leather repair tape is 3”X60” Enough length will make you think. Leather that never leaves scratches is a new product. Excellent application is what it is. It is difficult to find paste in the break or stain. You can cut it into different shapes with scissors. No smell, 100% environmental health. With this leather repair patch, you can bring your furniture and clothes back to life. There is a repair patch. First aid works on leather, vinyl, and many other upholstery fabrics.
👤I put my motorcycle seat on and added Gorilla Glue gel. Gorilla Glue gel has some give.
👤I feel like it has held up well after 6 months. It doesn't look as good as it did at first, but I don't think you can go into it expecting permanent results. The area I had to fix was large enough that I had to put together 3 pieces of leather tape side by side. Most of the issues I have are where two pieces are butted against each other, but are starting to come up. If you only need 1 piece of tape to fix a small area, you will have better results. I would still recommend it all. I used this to fix an area on my leather sofa. It was very easy to apply, and it looks great. I rolled the warm water back and forth on the pieces after applying it and it seemed to help. I just applied it today, so it's still not certain if it will hold up, but I would definitely recommend it and buy again if needed.
👤The leather strip on my chair was torn by my lab. I ordered this after doing various things to fix it. It is the exact match for my leather.
👤If you're looking for superior quality, look no further. It is strong and thick. If you mess up, you can separate the parts without damaging them. I ordered another roll.
👤I like the way you can cut it to fit. It took some time because this stuff comes in a roll and it wants to roll back up when you want it to stick to the couch. I applied a layer of liquid nails to make sure the tape wouldn't move when someone sits on it. I would like to see an option between dark brown and black. I got some colorful pillows to distract from the patches on the couch, so I think it's fine. It's a good thing.
👤It's hard to tell the difference between the shades of brown. I took screen shots and labeled them for anyone who was trying to choose the lightest brown. I didn't do this before I bought the dark brown 3 and it is a bit lighter than my couch. The new dark brown seems to have a burgundy color, as does the dark brown 2. I have uploaded the picture. The tape hid cat damage on the couch. You can see the damage to the couch, but you can't see the tape covering the other side. It is lighter because of my mistake in color choice. I will order the darker shade to cover the other side.
👤I have a leather couch that is in good shape, but I had a few tears on it. I was not sure if it would work. I was wrong. It was easy to apply and I have not had any issues with it. It has been great for the last few months, with no pulling up at the corners. The arm of the chair is on for one year. Both areas were easy to put on. You only notice it when it is close to you. I would have liked to have bought it sooner. I bought two rolls for future use.

This rip and seam tape is great for fabric awning repair tape, hot tub cover repair tape, kite tape, canvas awning repair tape, trailer awning repair tape, sail repair tape and more.
👤The fabric on our awning was not affected by the rotted thread. I applied Tear Mender to the seams after removing the fabric. This tape was used to back up the Tear Mender repair. It seemed like it should work. The tape fell off after I reinstalled the cover. I'm sure it works on certain things, but it didn't work on our awning material.
👤The tape was terrible. The product was advertised as a repair product. I am very disappointed that it doesn't work. I have tried other tapes at the stores, but they didn't work. I decided to try it. I put tape on the hole in the canvas. It rained and the tape fell. I had tape on the roll. I tried to fix it again. I put the same hole in the cover. After it rained, it fell off. The tape did not live up to my expectations. I don't know what they mean by warmth when it comes to boat covers, so I gave it one star.
👤This was bought for a convertible top and it doesn't stick to the canvas or the glass. I thought it might work because the description mentioned boats. It doesn't work on small above ground pools. Put the tape in the inside and outside of the small hole. It still leaks. What a waste.
👤This product is not useful. It doesn't stick to anything. It does not stick when you try to put it on. Immediately, it come off. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone. A waste of time and money.
👤It was bought to fix a boat cover. The edges left it up. The thickness was not bad. If it doesn't stick very well, I would use gorilla tape.
👤I bought this to fix my tent. I cleaned the area before applying tape. I sewed the tape onto the fabric so that it wouldn't stick to the hole, after I put tape on the inside and the outside, and left it for 24 hours, so I could check if it was sticking or not. I wouldn't recommend tent patching. It was thick tape and it would be very durable. I don't think tent material is what this can be used for.
👤The seats on my boat are old. The tape worked well to cover them. The surface does not seem to be uncomfortable to sit on.
👤This product is terrible. It is not waterproof. How do it get 4 stars? Water can only touch this tape until it is waterproof. The second day tape was on the pool cover. We cleaned and dried the area before applying the tape. Before putting the cover back on the pool surface, apply applied pressure. The previously clear tape is turning white and detaching from the pool cover. Within 24 hours, this happened. Not waterproof.
👤tre plus large, se faire on y arrive.
👤I should get a few more years use of my bimini boat top.
👤It's used on mooring to cover snap holes.
Resists curling, splits and shreds. It is easy to remove the roll. An ideal carpet. RV Awning Tape can be waterproof and can be used outdoors. Tent repair tape on awning, canopy, tent, tarp and greenhouse. Silicone-Butyl fabric repair tape bonds quickly to vinyl, canvas, leather, greenhouse, and tarp. It works well against heat, rain and UV. The XFasten Awning Patch Tape is coated with a waterproof and UV resistant film coating, giving users the ability to extend the lifespan of their awning. The rip stop tape will not break down under constant exposure to rain. The fix tape is designed to be very strong. Crystal clear finish blends perfectly on all surfaces. The puncture-resistant surface prevents further damage.
👤This was put on the inside of my RV awning. It was difficult to pull the strips from the roll. I thought it would do a great job sticking to the vinyl. Pieces are coming loose three hours later. I pressed them back on and went back to the patches. I have several pieces coming loose this morning. The product seems to be a waste of money. If I did something wrong, I wouldn't know, because there are no specific instructions for installing this online or with the package. Most strips have fallen off.
👤The tape was showing a good bond with the canopy canvas material, but it came off after six hours. The temperature was in the 70's with little wind. Is it still on after four days with regular duct tape?
👤Nothing says "tender loving hands at home" like a shiny tape on a flat mat finished awning. The tape doesn't stick well after a cleaning. The underside that has not been weathered is the second try. Sticks are better, but not well enough. Will be experimenting with products like Shoe Goo and Silicone products with a non-shiny finish to dress the tears on the topside with tape on the underside to possibly better bond at the tears.
👤I cleaned my awning. On a 75 degree, dry day, the tape was wrapped under the awning. Within 2 months the tape edge was curling across the 20' awning. I had high hopes for this fix, but it failed me. I'm buying a new awning. It's really sad.
👤Works well. I was able to pull it off and put it down straight. It seems very durable and water proof.
👤It was a good purchase. But... I put this end to end on the awning. When you apply the product, it seems very sticky, but after a day or two, it gets wet. I am afraid that the vinyl will be torn. If you need to repair a small area like a 12”x12” then this product is not for you.
👤The product failed within 2 months of application on my 15 foot RV awning because the tape dried out and split into multiple horizontal cracks. It's useless as a rip stop patch.
👤It wasn't long before we were out of the awning, can't imagine if we actually rolled in and out. Think packing tape worked better.
👤The tape was applied to my awning. It was holding for a few days and it seemed like a good stick. The tape fell off when I took my camper out. Not worth it. Buy something else!
👤I used this tape to repair my solarium work.
👤The dislike part is less than 6 inches. Use electronic buttons to cover up. It worked well.
👤It was used to repair an awning. The edge has begun to lift.
Premium quality is industrial grade. The strongest grip is provided by this heavy duty white duct tape. The XFasten white tape has a smooth feel but is designed for critical on-site projects. It's great for every day of camping out. Extra Sticky Double-Sided Tape has twice the bonding power and amount of glue than normal double-sided tapes. Strong applications need extreme bonding. The American homeowner can come up with new ideas thanks to the mess-free glue. Will not leave a sticky mess when removed. It's easy to uninstall Extreme Tackiness of its double sided sticky glue, which is ideal for decorating auditoriums, churches, conference rooms, classrooms, and apartments. Double Sides Heavy Duty Tape can protect leather seats, sofas and furniture from pet scratches and rug to carpet gripper applications. It's perfect to use on carpets with large dogs. Resists curling, splits and shreds. It is easy to remove the roll. An ideal carpet.
👤I have used wide sticky tape to hold rugs down, but it doesn't hold very long, and it's terrible to get the backing off, if you want to ruin your house. I decided to try this and it works well, it's much easier to work with and so far it holds better. It is sticky for carpets. The words are narrow and strong.
👤I've tried 3 different tapes on a rug that wants to curl, and this was the only one that worked. The item is at a good price point and was shipped quickly.
👤I used it to hang a light weight fabric mural on a wall mirror that I painted to cover it. The mural stayed up for a few days. The mirror has tape stuck to it. That is a thing. Will add more strips to the mirror. If you put a couple thumbtacks at the top in the wall, you can cover the thumbtacks. It works well in getting action figures to a shelf.
👤This stuff is very good. I use it in my skateboard builds to hold electronics and batteries in place, as well as fixing parts if I don't want to drill holes through the decks. All weather it holds up. It's best in clean and smooth surfaces. It is possible to remove it cleanly with a little effort.
👤I bought this double sided tape thinking it would be as good as 3M. I use 3M Extreme mounting tape to hold up my mini speaker. It was hard to remove the speaker because of the double sided tape, but it worked so well that it was necessary to make adjustments. They like to say that this is not an extreme double sided tape. It was easy to remove and that says something about this tape.
👤This was bought for attaching pieces of leather. The previous tape didn't adhere to the metal well. This stuff sticks to metal. It has an easy to remove backing. Don't let the tape fold on itself, it will stick to itself and be hard to flatten. Highly recommended!
👤I thought double sided tape had made a revolution where the backing was removed and the second sticky was exposed. I tried to get the backing off my teeth, but it was hard and I didn't get it off.
👤I have not been given a chance to use this tape yet, but it appears to be very sticky and not flimsy. It's perfect for lining wood boxes with your favorite fabric. It is easy to remove the peel off protector when you are ready. It was delivered quickly. I am happy with my purchase.
👤There are no tricks. The barbell picture was not on the floor. There is no trick photography here. The barbell - tape contact is only 2 by 2 so that it can hold up a 5 LB weight in my test. I needed a new roll of double-sided tape to keep the carpet down in the utility room. I cut out the lengths I needed and put the object on the tape. It is impossible to be any easier than that. This tape is so durable that it feels like a fabric in how it can stretch and not tear. Think of that type of material. Pull it down so the hand is almost flat against the wall to get it off cleanly. It's more difficult to pull off a direct 90 degrees from the wall. There is a tip. Ultra-sticky tapes have a secret. Press firmly into place over the entire tape surface if you need to. Remove the wax backing and place the object over the tape. Hold firmly for 30 seconds. I can see how someone might find this tape sticky if mild compression is not done. This tape is a beast for holding power. If you have a problem with a spider or ant in a certain corner of a basement room, put a small strip of it down and it will be solved. I will recommend this to anyone who needs that bulldog holding ability. I hope you find my review helpful.
A large leather patch. Do not drop, paste on a few seconds with advanced technology. The price is cheap, the appearance is luxurious, and paste in the break or stain is hard to find. You can cut it into different shapes with scissors. 100% environmental health. Their kit works on leather and vinyl couches, car seats, bags, purse, boots, jacket, belts, luggage, boots, auto seats, gloves, motorcycle seats, recliner, handbag, loveseat, truck seat, ottoman, and furniture.
👤The product works as expected. We plan on replacing furniture in the next couple years so I wouldn't call this a permanent solution but it seems very sticky and covers a hole in the couch. I just put it on so I can't speak to the longevity, but they send you a good sized roll so if it comes off, I can re-tape it. I would recommend it.
👤The product is not mentioned. I need to fix a patch on my couch. The tape is67531 due to lack of glue. It is useless and a waste of money. The vendor should make sure that the tape has the right amount of glue on it. I will not recommend this product.
👤This stuff is great. We moved into a rental that has a bar with vinyl on it. I would tear it out if I had the choice. My husband's job here only lasts for a year, so it's a corporate lease. I'm not putting a lot of effort into this shack. Someone repaired the bar with duct tape after it was torn. It had to have happened a long time ago because the duct tape was bad. I am not trying to live like that. I went to Amazon. I was going to buy vinyl graffer tape in a similar color but I found this. It worked well. It looks like a new ugly vinyl strip. I have never done anything like this before, so you can imagine there were a lot of mistakes. I had to make about 100 cuts. The stuff is very easy to understand for things like that because you can't tell if it's one solid piece or not. I was going to patch the part that had tape on it, but I ordered the wrong color. I went ahead and did the whole thing again. I had to pull it back up when I had bubbles or creases. The tape was the same as it was the first time. I have one piece of ugly brown vinyl that goes down the side of the bar. I am going to order another roll and do the last piece today. If you're still with me in my novel-of-a-review, I wish you luck in your repair and recommend this product to everyone.
👤There is nothing surprising here. The job was done. My favorite chair was saved.
👤Don't buy this product. Does not stick. Glue and looking very cheap. Don't buy. It was easy to return.
👤It works well. I melted scented hot wax on my chair and left nasty looking streaks. The tape was very thin and strong. The tape should be a shade darker. I hope it has a bigger selection of brown. Unless you focus, it's not really noticable.
👤I am very disappointed in this product. I have had to replace it on my couch 3 times. I am leaving the hole on my couch.
👤I think this works well for a first try. If you need a quick fix at home on a piece of furniture, I would recommend it. I use this on my leather desk chair that is about 8 years old. It was in excellent shape before the current work-at- home situation. After sitting for nine hours a day for the past few months it has obvious wear in the lower leg area. I thought this would be worth a try because I noticed pieces of the leather cracking and breaking off on my floor. I have a dark brown leather chair, and if there's no light on it, it might look black. I chose the dark brown. It is a great match. It has some variations, but I think it would match most people's dark leather. It was sticky on the first peel. I thought the stuff was going to be like duct tape, but much more sticky. The outer area is not like duct tape. It's almost like a plastic shower curtain if that makes sense. If the furniture you're applying this to has a lot of crinkles and non smooth areas then you might want to look for something else. You will be able to tell. For my purpose in a chair that no one will care about, it works just fine. The pictures I took before and after are helpful. If I can remember in the next few weeks, I will take a follow-up review. I don't think it would hold up very well on a couch with animals. You're taking your chances if you put it in a place that's not heavily hidden. If you're looking for A-1 quality to make expensive furniture look good, this won't do it. It's just a quick fix, but it's worth it for me.
